I do believe the movie is still in the works, I remember reading somewhere that FOX hadn't wanted anyone to even know the Movie was going to be made in the first place. Sort of like, 'Hey guys, look at this! We made a DBZ movie and no body knew about!' kind of thing. Why? Beat the hell out of me :?

Personally, I think it could have been good. X-men was awesome, Hellboy looks good (I have GOT to see that!), so I think DBZ would be makeable. Still, I'd rather see a nice Cel Shadded movie instead of live action.

Condensing the Saiya-jin Saga into a two-hour animated feature film would probably be the best way of bringing DB to theaters. I can't see any real actors managing to pull off playing the DB characters without looking ridiculous. Where would you find people to play Vegeta and Goku?

Indeed. And even casting Jackie Chan or Jett Lee seems wrong to me for somereason. The only casting listing on the sites with them that worked for me was Goldberg as Nappa. Other than that, I don't think it's possible to cast anyone, though I do have a friend who looks an awful lot like Mirai no Trunks. He even dyed his hair lavender/purple for halloween one year  That was before I'd even heard of DBZ...

I'm quite a big Jackie Chan fan mainly his old movies (e.g. Police Story) but I think he would be wrong for the part of Goku (even though Goku is his favourite character). The only role I think he should have is having a co partnership of the fighting sequences with Samo Hung.

If the movie is indeed supposed to happen then it would have to involve actors who could fight. This eliminate everyone from Hollywood except Westly Snipes (and who could he play as?). That why I think it would be for the best if the actors taking part were unkown actors.

I think if they ever do convert DB to a live-action movie, they might try to tone down some of the bright colorings and crazy hair, like with X-Men. All those cartoony quirks would look very silly on a real person, because they were never intended to be on real people in the first place.

I could live with the clothing colors being toned down, but would they preserve all the crazy hair? It would be difficult to see someone in a Gokuu or Vegeta wig and take it seriously, but to totally omit that stuff would just...suck.

(I still don't believe it will ever be made, though.)

There, there Zacko. It'll be okay. Just go and watch 3 hours of DB and 3 hours of DBZ, then, watch all of Evangelion, including the movies and I garauntee you won't be thinking about GT's confusing elements anymore!
Or watch all 6 episodes of FLCL. Those six eps confused me more than ALL of Eva, and that includes End of Eva!

And doesn't anyone ever pay attention? I keep telling you guys, Toriyama himself said females can't go SSJ because of their ability to release rage easier (no built-up anger = no SSJ), and because of menustration. Don't complain to me if you don't like the answer, take it up with the big man himself.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Err... When did he say that? Just curious, for it sounds quite stupid for menstruation to keep someone from attaining SSJ.

Although the females in DBZ obviously release their anger easier... Heh. For some reason, each girl in DBZ is thoroughly irritable.... Well, the older ones.

Yes, no offence S, but I'd like to actually see written proof of Toriyama saying that.

I'd have to say I would like proof as well.

The closest I could find about girls turning super saiyan is from a article called The Ultimate Super Saiyan Guide By Greg Werner and I agree with Greg on this one.

Extract:
The Women! What about the Women!?

What better way to cap this guide off with a tribute to the unsung hero of GT, Pan. Never has a Super Saiyan woman been seen. Does this mean it is impossible for a female to turn Super Saiyan? Certainly not. In fact, it was inferred in the GT Perfect File. It’s suggested that if Pan did become a Super Saiyan, she may indeed become a new type of Super Saiyan never seen before. So why don’t we see a female Super Saiyan? Because Pan never fully met the requirements. Pan never became rage filled. Many times we’ve seen Pan become emotional, but never as mad as the males in DB. Don’t see this as sexist, just a sign that Pan can actually deal with difficult events better than most males can.

 A new stage of Super Saiyan, that only women can reach? Something about that is scary...Pan is pretty dangerouse in GT, without the ability to transform at all (She even knocked Rild on his ass, and he's stronger than Majin Boo!)

Are you feeling all right? Do you need some water?

lol, I know I know, that whole Rild being stronger than Boo thing was a joke (and not a funny one at that) but still, GT sorta follows its own logic.

Chibi Trunks and Goten never met all of the "requirements", either, but they're both Super Saiya-jin. IMHO, rage, purity of heart and other conditions that are supposedly necessary to become a Super Saiya-jin aren't as critical as a lot of people believe. Trunks and Goten didn't need to be enraged, and Vegeta clearly wasn't "pure evil" by any definition, so purity of heart isn't a clear prerequisite.

Anyway....

Saiya-jin are a sexually dimorphic species, and since the Super Saiya-jin form tends to emphasize male physical attributes like increased muscle mass, I would assume that female Super Saiya-jin are either impossible or extremely unlikely.

Or the females have a different look as Super Sai-jins. I've been playing around with that idea for my fanfics (even though Hope follows the same general transformations as guys do, but that's simply cause I was to lazy to work out alternate looks).

Maybe it's like the difference between the Hulk and She-Hulk. Male Super Saiyans get all angry and muscley, wheras female ones would just get enormous breasts and run around in sexually provocative clothing.

Call me extremely ignorant Psy, but I didn't know there was a She-Hulk? When did that character get created?

Their is indeed a 'She-Hulk', I don't exactly know the details, but it's a lame kind of spin-off like Super Girl. (Or Great Saiya Girl!)

Sexually-dimorphic means that there is a difference in physical appearance between the males and females of a species, like the way male birds are often more colourful and have more ornate feathering than their female counterparts. With Saiyajins, it's obvious that as with humans, males are physically bigger than females. :)
