Who should beat Black?

Fwiw I think Goku should just beat everyone to me Dragon Ball Universe is just the story of Goku and his life. No reason for anyone else to really do anything major except the occasional twist like Gohan beating Cell.

I wouldnt consider this a twist...it's the first new villain of a new series (in the sense everything before Champa was just movie retelling basically)

I think F!Trunks would yell somthing along the lines of "It was supposed to end with Cell.. It was supposed to end with Bobbidy... And now you come to destroy my future again. Gohan, Mai... Mother.... NOW YOUR TURN TO DIE, BLACK!"...

And then Black easily shrugs off his attack and kicks his ass. "Father... Just get Goku..."

I hope both Goku and Vegeta get wrecked by Black on the blink of death, black will go God mode SS, something different from SSBlue – I hope with white/gray hair.

Then Gohan comes back from training with Piccolo.
The supreme Kai intervenes seeing the terrible status of the situation.
Gives him the fusion earrings.
Then a Fused Gohan and Trunks create the perfect Saiyan warrior, eventually they go SSJB in battle and defeat Black Goku who lost quite a bit of power fighting Goku and Vegeta already, separately.

They will later defuse using fat Buu or the Dragon balls.

Or more realistically Goku.

I have many theories about black and everything ends with Goku beating him. However, I think the others should have a shot two.

1) Have Gohan and Trunks fusing and fighting him.
2) Have Vegeta beating him.

I believe it is extremely likely that Vegeta will be the one to finish off Black, especially if they were to separate him from the likeness of Goku. (Say Black is a fusion of Future Goku and himself, or if Black is controlling Future Goku's body) It is very clear that Vegeta is enraged Goku Black killed Future Bulma. So in this arc, we may finally see Vegeta get the spotlight. Not that I'm a Vegeta fan or anything.

As I mentioned in the official Super thread, there was nothing more satisfying than watching the androids being destroyed by Trunks. Ideally, he should be the one to beat Black.

In my nerdgasm fantasy, it would go something like this:
> Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks should head to the future on their own. NO Jaco, Pilaf, Beerus, Whis, and so on. Please, please, PLEASE keep them away. It should just be those three.
> Vegeta steps up first and beats the piss out of Black as a SSJB. However, Black shows nothing but glee as each blow makes him stronger.
> Black transforms into that SSJW form fans have been spreading (it looks so cool!!). In this form, the stamina drainage offsets his perpetual power boosts. He's now capable of beating Vegeta. The combined efforts of Kid Trunks, Future Trunks and Vegeta will defeat Black. Even though only Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks are travelling to the future to defeat him, I'm calling it that Kid Trunks will sneak into the time machine to see what exciting things will happen. It's definitely something he would do.

Goku should have already beaten him ^^ He didn't learn a thing from the frieza fight, but I guess he can't help himself.

I want it to escalate so bad that they have to beg Whis to step in.

And whis deals with him, either one shots or has a glorious battle, but most likely one shots, I like the mistery of Whis being so strong.
