This kind of shit reminds me of when 4Kids made a video where characters from anime series like Sonic X, One Piece, Shaman King, and Tokyo Mew Mew were singing the US national anthem as propaganda.

Obviously, this is worse, as there is a difference between a private company doing this and the US government openly spreading propaganda and stealing copyrighted material without permission

I don’t think the 4Kids commercial was meant to be propaganda. Just a really cringy attempt to celebrate the Fourth of July.

That's was awkward to watch but no way that's propaganda.

It's no different from when here in Latin America, we had Space Ghost interviewing soccer footballers like Juan Sebastián Verón or Iván Zamorano for Cartoon Network's Copa Toon.

Even in those regional exclusive interviews had the characters act like they were big fans of soccer football when in the actual Space Ghost Coast to Coast show, they don't show any kind of interest on it.

It's more of a cultural adaptation and less of a propaganda.

Yeah, I was gonna say that WW2 was probably the last time, and even with that story ending in overall success there are a few black marks (nuclear weapons, massive avoidable civilian casualties in both Germany and Japan, etc.). Maybe Korea, depending on what you think might have happened if the North gained control of the entire peninsula. After THAT, it's all bad ideas outside of the first Gulf War, which was pretty much a unanimous decision among western nations rather than just American adventurism.

I agree that US involvement is the main reason South Korea didn’t get run over by the North. But that feels more like protecting a country from invasion rather than removing a leader to make the country better.

Although I would say that it is more on the part of the American subsidiary than the Japanese headquarters, and the lawsuit is part of a series of lawsuits involving many other companies.

It always felt like an act of American imperialism much like how 99% of wars are. Even my grandfather (1932-2022) who fought in Korea and his other war vet buddies, felt the same as well.

As I said, I have no love for Newsom. I’m just saying that even with his shittiness, he doesn’t compare to how shitty the average MAGA politician is. At the very least, California is still one of the more trans-friendly states in America. Anyway, contrary to what some people seem to think, I have my doubts that he’ll be the Democratic candidate in 2028.

He would still be bad for the country as he is not a big supporter of trans rights, BLM, and Palestine. He is another dem that is also big on the US military, police, etc. Furthermore, he has no interest on getting rid of climate change by removing fossil flue, factories that pump out smoke to our air, waste in the waters, etc. Not only that, but he and every other politician also had no interest on getting rid of nuclear weapons. Other words, he is no different from the right-wingers. This video does a good job on telling on how both sides are on the same coin.

People like AOC and Zohran Mamdani are better than most dems which isn't much. As they are both pro capitalism. Trans rights, BLM, Palestine, Ukraine, Universal Health Care, Climate Change, and the removal of Nuclear Weapons should be America's biggest issues to focus on.
