At least here in the states, they were usually rated between 'average' and 'poor' and it was generally agreed that only Dragonball fans would enjoy them. What's your point?

And for the record, I always disliked x-play, and developed a vendetta against them after Morgan Webb's "Japan only became a real country after we nuked them" speech.

Youch! I never knew they got that bad with their commentaries... Anyways, what a whore! Are they really hurting that bad for ratings!?

I'd have to agree with them really. The Budokai games are decent fighting games, but someone who is exclusively a fighting game fan wouldn't like them much due to rather clunky mechanics and dial-a-combos. But of course, if you like DBZ you're willing to forgive all that and just have fun blasting giant attacks back and forth.

What I am wondering is:

Will you be able to fly around the world? And can you charge your Ki (Like an Aura Burst)

And I wonder what your "Job Classes" will be, I guess it is pretty easy for Saiyans,
1. Class Super Saiya-Jin
2. Class Super Saiya-Jin 2 and so on

I guess this will be an interessting title. ^^

Meh, so I decided to take the character list from UB22 and assign classes to everyone. But I didn't save it. And the purpose of reproducing it here is to... umm... show how random fighting people can be different kinds of characters without having half an idea of how to make it work.

Freeza=Conquerer.
Buu=He does whatever he wants...
Goku=Hero
MiraiTrunks Probably=Hero.
SuperBuu=Hmm, either a "destroyer" or a warrior... or a combination of the two.
Zarban=I don't remember. Umm...
Tenshinhan=Definitely a warrior.
#18=... Assassin?
Gohan=. . . He probably has his own class.
Kuririn=Well crap, I thought of one for him, and I don't remember. He has qualities of both a warrior and a hero... but is still unique from either.
Goten=Meh.
Gotenks=Definitely generic warrior who just wants to fight...
Trunks=Umm... Use your imagination. On second thought, don't.
Kaioshin=He rules the universe! Or something.
Saiyaman=Hero.
Vegeta=Warrior.
Ginyu=Mercinary?
Recoome=Probably same as Ginyu, who has a question mark.
Dabura=He's a demon!
Piccolo=... uh... Badass. Yes. There's a badass class.
Cell=Destroyer.
#16=Battleship. Ur, I mean... maybe the same as Gohan?
That didn't turn out as well as it was supposed to.

. I'm sure I forgot someone on the top row...
And as for the unlockables. Three of them are versions of other characters... but KameSen'nin qualifies as a master, and Mr. Satan could be... well, he could be a master (who teaches you how to taunt your opponent and avoid fighting unless it's absolutely necessary!), but probably is... umm... He's a show-fighter, right?

They wouldn't try to put in random "unlock potential for this level!" quests without a very good story tie-in, would they?
... Heh heh. For some reason I want to put this in the context of Vegeto EX's Jump Ultimate Stars story. But my knowledge is limited... to that story...

Actually, I could see him as a Berserker. Pretty decent all-around fighter with balanced (but rather average) stats... until you piss him off. Then he could fuck up everyone around him if he's not careful. xD;; He'd have to only be able to maintain that kind of power for a little while, though.

Now that I think about it, actually, Brolli could be placed in the same class. He'd just be able to hold the powerup for (a bit) longer. Oh boy, what a mess...

Rocketman=Supa Powuh Class
Very high states like Vegetto high and has the lonely ability.

Anyway, Berserker seems like Gohan and Broli, expect that Gohan is controllable making him a wussy berserker. So Gohan is the Potential class? Something like Freeza and Coola, have hidden potential.

What still bothers me is that the Namek face seems iffy. I mean, the head's got a split down the middle and face is outlined, making it look like Cell's.

But I like the whole dinosaur thing (crosses fingers for a sword-wielding bear). Also, do you think Saichoro being there means that Nemek will be accessible, or do you think they'll just make it some other area on the planet? I find it hard to imagine multiple planets to go to. I mean, multiple areas is one thing, but this is another thing entirely (then again, I haven't played any MMORPGs, so I wouldn't know how stuff like this is handled).

Well, from the looks of it, there IS multiple planets. I wouldn't be surprised if future expansion packs include more to travel to and expand on interplanetary travel, like Star Wars Galaxies did.

The game looks really good, but I dunno, a Dragonball MMO? I mean, I myself play WoW and Maple Story and am a big fan of 'em, but how will they have it? What will they do for the plot? Just, defend the universe or terrorize it? I'm not saying I hate the idea, just...confused on it.

With each screenshot it shows more and more promise. But seriously, what the fuck is wrong with the Namekians!? The new larger scan brings up better details, and they are all disturbing...
