I don't feel the need to go as in-depth with the French movie as I did with the last one, but all I have to say is that the acting could use some emotiveness. I realize the Artificial Humans are supposed to be devoid of emotion, but the truth is, it's still there (they do get angry, annoyed, taunt their opponents, and even fall in love); they just express it more mechanically. It seems like these actors are trying to carry themselves with the same attitude their characters would have, but it comes across as flatly apathetic as opposed to flauntingly nonchalant.

Furthermore, their movement is a bit… unbalanced. Maybe I'm just comparing it to the perfect articulation found in the animé, but parts like the barrage of Ki blasts just seem sloppy. Though, it would probably require a skilled martial artist or meticulously-rehearsed scenes to get it right.

Despite these things, the costumes are reasonable and representative of the characters; the visual effects are very well-done (the cliff collisions seemed a little rushed, but on a low budget, very good), the aural effects as well (they managed to mix the original SFX into their own quite effectively); presentation was very faithful to the original. A good fan film overall, even if it is just a parody.

They're really moving along fast. Hopefully we can see some sort of teaser or some official production stills soon. I may not have high hopes, but I'm still curious.
Wow, that's impressive (or scary). I feel the same way, though. Very curious.

70% finished already you say?
Yep. According to the Dragonball Movie Blog, anyway.

So, pretty soon, I'm gonna start wondering why we haven't seen a damn thing yet.

A teaser trailer would be nice.

Has anyone been able to make a translation of the Goku vs. Freeza video?

Just wondering. It kicks ass.

I don't have good enough Japanese to tell you anything for sure, but from what I could understand it was the basic stereotypical "Freeza, why are you on Earth?" and "I was humiliated by a stupid monkey!" stuff.

That much I could understand too; another thing I under stood was:

Supa Saiya-jin ottoreta [sp?]

Which translates as:

The Super Saiya-jin [Saiyan] has appeared!
