It's only because the video footage isn't that bad to begin with.SSj Kaboom wrote:I figured that much. On the whole, I'm glad things are improving more and more with each set. It can only get better from here.

The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Ha-ha, this reminds me of the time I saw the really weird Vegeta in season 1. You know, this guy?

He's supposed to be that way, and I made a big fuss over it. Lols.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Well it is a dated series, you never know, some of the remastering mistakes don't even phase me, and I couldn't care less.
My guess is that who ever took that screen shot put it on Photoshop and changed the colour balance, here's the Season set screen cap put though the same process.Lavender Saiyan wrote:Oh wow, go figure, the Red tint is correct. And here I was being all upset about that

I wouldn't say it's SUPPOSED to be like that, but yeah, that was how it was in the japanese version too, so it was a mistake on Toei's part, not FUNi's.bkev wrote:Ha-ha, this reminds me of the time I saw the really weird Vegeta in season 1. You know, this guy?

Some tard spilt tomato ketchup on the original prints and cleaned it up best they could.shotkeeper wrote:I love these season sets.
So anyone can confirm wether the red is supposed to be there or not. Just because Dragonbox has it red doesn't mean that is correct too. Maybe there's something wrong with the film at that certain point. Don't know just guessing something.

lol I truly believe that can be true lol, since the old picture is a lot older than Dragonbox and Remastered lol. So As a detective (H) I estimate the suspect doing the crime scene in the period of 2002- early 2003. Yes I rock. Also this can be blood of the fingers of the guys who were working their ass off making the film.

Roshi is old, bald and has a nice white beard... where as that guy is young, head full of hair and clean-shaven. There are the sunglasses, but Roshi's are typically red and black.shotkeeper wrote:Hey is it me or the guy on the left looks like Roshi Lmao.

Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
DB DBox color corrections & DBox color corrections.

Obviously, but that guy has the same facial structure, also he has the same nose. But like i said, character designs are recycled for non important characters.ect5150 wrote:Roshi is old, bald and has a nice white beard... where as that guy is young, head full of hair and clean-shaven. I'm a bit irked now. I'm closing in on finishing my Box Set...I just watched the Episode "Saving Throw" which is the beginning of the Trunks/Cell fight.
In this Box Set they removed a line of Trunks dialogue...There's this kick ass line where Trunks says "Cell, step away from Vegeta & face me". It's no longer there. What's worse is it's been replaced with some pointless grunting by Vale. There shouldn't even be any grunting of the sort in that scene. This just irks me.
Infact after watching that Episode through fully, there seem to be some random newly added lines. Very strange.
