I don't see the irony as I always put sentences together normally. Although I do have a typo in there. It happens when you type fast without looking at your keyboard.

Actually there's evidence in the movie supporting that he received a Zenkai and, as a result, grew considerably more powerful. You mentioned that Gohan stated that he (Burori) was just as strong as he was before, but what you may have missed was the fact that Burori was only in his regular Ssj form when Gohan said this, which was a form he never actually demonstrated in movie 8.

As such, movie 10 Ssj Burori = movie 8 Densetsu no Ssj Burori

I'm not saying that he's ungodly powerful due to this, but it does seem to stand to reason that he did receive a Zenkai.
Incorrect. We did see regular SSJ Brolly. It's just that the control device altered the look of it.
I really would question Trunks being stronger at all, really, post RoSaT training, than Vegeta.
Well, I was refrencing displayed power.

 I was only trying to point out what the title of the topic was referring to. Trunks and Goten beating Bio-Broly. Yes, it is a horrible movie and I was dumb to spend $20 on it (at least it came with a trading card). Lord Slug isn't any better, is it?

a lot of people say it's terrible; a shoddy retelling of the original Piccolo saga.

Goten and Trunks were only able to defeat Bio-Broly because Bio-Broly had a major physical and chemical weakness, plus they had Kuririn there to help! They would never be able to defeat normal Broly in any of his forms except with fusion.

Now that should be the last we need to hear of Bio-Broly *shudders*.

I have never understood why people didn't like Lord Slug!!! But even the people who hate it agree that it is much better than Bio-Broly *shudders*.

Lord Slug isn't one of my favorites, but I always thought the false super saiyan was a really cool transformation. 8)

I don't really know, it just didnt really appeal to me, and many others.

Maybe it is because of the lack of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Gohan.
Maybe it's because there was so much Kuririn.

I guess if your a big Goten and Trunks fan than there is nothing keeping this movie from being one of your favorites, but sadly that's not me. :?

I liked that the movie strayed from the formula of the movie series and gave the second tier characters the spotlight. It had a good plot and it flowed well. You could not say that about Lord Slug or Super Android 13. Well Lord Slug had a good premise but had terrible pacing. Android 13 is easily the worst Dragonball movie.

To each his own, I presonally would put DBZ movie 11 as the worst and movie 7 as "pretty good" but hey, we're all different and at least here we can all voice our personal opinions.

I never said that there was necessarily anything bad about that movie, just that it was my least favorite (ya I guess "worst" was a bad way to say that).

The only reasons I can think of why I didn't like movie 11 is that the movie revolves around Goten and Trunks, who I'm not particular to. Also, the movie was missing all of my favorite characters: Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Future Trunks, Piccolo and Broly. Yes they did have Broly but they messed him up which really kind of set the movie back in my mind.

Also, the film really lacked the intense battle scenes that I have come to love the Dragonball Z movies for. Yes there was one intense fight when Broly first came out, but Trunks mooning and flipping off Broly really ruined the "intense" mood for me. Don't get me wrong, the scenes with Trunks were hilarious and I did love them, but I prefer intense action.

This movie was fun to watch, and I can see how lots of other people would love it, but it's just not my favorite, that's all.

Movie four sucked because it was just a terrible rip-off of the Piccolo Daimao arc.

And I think all of the Broli movies are pretty poor, Broli had three features, yet his character never went beyond anything other than "Kakarotto!!"

I'll never understand why so many people like him, the Broli movies were as cookie cutter as it gets.
