That was just a huge missed opportunity when it came to Burst Limit. I have no idea what they were thinking when they decided to only go up to the Cell Arc.

Dimps should never have made Infinite World. Burst Limit should have come out November instead of June and they could have used all the extra time and hands to put the Buu saga and maybe GT into the game.
Infinite World was a much better game than Burst Limit in every area except graphics and cutscenes.

And an excuse for a sequel, adequet sales and critical response depending.

Whether you liked the CaC and story or not, it was a big breath of fresh air.

I for one hope this " cliffhanger ending" people here are talking about will be for a sequel and not DLC. 14 more days until I find out what the ending is and how the secret missions will play out. I hear that Broly as a boss has his abilities true to his character like invulnerability. Is that true?
One question, did Dimps make the manga?

I'd like to see a Burst Limit 2 with about 20-30 more characters (not counting transformations) but without the Drama Pieces, I hated that

Positives:
- Interesting scenario idea
- The customization options.
- Cooperation.
- Intuitive hand.
- Pretty cinematics.
- Good life

Negatives:
- Concept underexploited.
- Sometimes ugly animated sequences.
- The city underexploited.
- The aliasing.
- A quickly jettisoned camera.
- Gameplay too simplistic for some.
Man after seeing the video below i told myself i'll pick this up on its release date.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy1AoTbGEfE

but then i saw that review, now i'm not too sure. I guess i'll wait untill i get reviews from hardcore gamers after the game come out, then i'll decide.

Dimps has ever failed me before when it comes to good gameplay but it seems this game is trying too hard to please the masses that only really seem to care about making and playing dress up with their own made up character. So gameplay my end up lacking or be too simplistic to accommodate the fans that really only care about the dress up part of the game, so they dont have problem getting where they need to be to getting their characters well dressed up. ugh.

As soon as i get the green light from hardcore gamers i'll pick it up.

What do you expect from Dragon Ball games? This game is incredible and should have the best mechanics we've seen in a Dragon Ball game in a long time.

Ask around your friends? See if they have it and if they do then try it. See if your local gameshop will let you demo a game you're interested in. Some where I live let me do that. There are options outside of buying it to check a game out.

I don't really trust reviews, especially these days. Some sites or publications push an agenda or worse, they're being paid to give a favorable review and then you also have to deal with some reviewers who have the oddest tastes, or a very specific list of things a game must do for them to consider it at least average. I still get very grumpy when I think of the polygon review for Bayonetta 2. I get grumpy when I think of how DA:I won game of the year at the VGAs when it was only out for about 2 weeks.

Which was wasted on Infinite World which flopped anyway and should have all gone to Burst Limit to make a better game out of it.
And an excuse for a sequel
That was one of the biggest faults with the Dragon Ball video game series post Tenkaichi 3. It felt like they just kept leaving stuff out on purpose only to introduce it in the sequel so they could use it to promote the game as having something new even though it was content we already had before and they just took out.

Ultimate Tenkaichi had significantly less characters than the very first Tenkaichi.

There's other ways. Gameplay videos, demos, renting, and even asking if friends have it. Multiple ways besides reviews (which can be biased if they don't like a genre or they're paid off).

Reviews are opinions. You can get your own opinion by playing the game yourself or your own observation.

I agree, I never choose the games I buy by reviews.
Prime example: Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

I ain't talking about me. I mean, I've played the Network Test and adored the experience, I've followed this game's news and reveals pretty damn hard and I played the TGS Build at a local convention. I know I'm going to enjoy it atleast for the CaC and online experience.

No one said anything about going off 'professional reviews', as everyone knows money has a major influence on their opinions. Thats common sense. I'm talking about regular but respectable reviewers, one that may share similar taste as yourself. For me one thats into extremely or moderately challenging games, tekken, MK etc/hardcore gamers. And is also a fan of dbz. I know a couple, so i'll just wait to hear their reviews.

Dont want to end up buying a game that i'l be nodding to because of how easy it is to play/defend or pull off combos etc; Sorry i'm not into games for visuals and dress up.

Ofcourse a demo is a good option to get a feel of the game, but thats not always accessible and getting a full understanding of the game takes time..

Rent still cost money..
Gameplay videos? unless you mean one where some someone explains and list pros and cons (which is still a review). Otherwise this post is redundant; Still vague..
Friends? not everyone has friends that are as interested in certain show/anime

Eh I was talking in a more general way, apologies if I didn't make that clear. I've seen plenty of stuff to know I'll enjoy this as well, so much so I've fully paid off my preorder in advance and I've pretty much not read a single review of it so far, outside of famitsu's when everyone here had a small group 'WTF?!' moment. The gamestop I regular has this one kid who has tried to talk me out of my preorder for Xenoverse because he read a review about it that said the game was basically still the exact same just with character creation.

2-12$ isn't going to rip your pockets. Or you can use game fly and rent multiple of games. Umm yea. Gameplay videos tell a lot. Even if rookies are playing. You can see there's more than what shown. If you don't have friends that own than then simply rent or view for yourself.
