In terms of feats Friza had the best feats hands down. lifting an island, surviving a poink blank planet explosion while being heavily injured, flicking away planet vegeta which had 10x times the earth gravity with his finger and more.

What? He never even blew up a planet under his own power in the manga. Going by manga feats, the most impressive character by far would be Pure Majin Buu. He blew up Earth with an energy blast that could have destroyed a star.

How is dat more impressive than Cell destroying king Kai's planet.

1. The whole Mecha Freeza being in chunks thing. Besides the facts that these chunks were blown into dust, Krillin also faced the same fate on namek, but didn't need to be put back together.

2. Freeza preached being the strongest in the universe, yet was aware of Majin Buu and Beerus? These weren't just legends; his father specifically told him to never touch them, as he would be wrecked.

3. On that note, why spend a lifetime fearing a SSJ legend when you were told by your father that there are two beings, that actually exist, who are already stronger than you could ever be?

4. In fact, why care about any terror in the universe if you already know you are a prodigy and can become millions of times stronger by training in just 4 months...

5. Speaking of which, the training thing. If he'd known this, surely he could have trained before being killed on Earth? I mean, a week should have sufficed for Mr. Prodigy. Why be so fearful over the sight of Trunks in the first place?


6. Wasn't there a limit in the dragon balls as to how long someone has to have been dead before they are revived?

7. Why does Freeza have a body in hell?

Mind you, I can provide justifications for all of this:
1. Maybe only bad guys are revived the same way they are killed (he was already dead before Trunk blew the bits). Thus, this doesn't apply to Krillin.
2. Maybe King Cold's words were lost on Freeza. He saw Majin Buu as a legend, much like SSJs, and underestimated Beerus since he never actually confronted him (...or has he? O_O).
3. Maybe his new mecha upgrades made him confident he could win against SSJ Goku, so he didn't think he needed any training. That, or his potential was lost the minute his organic side was replaced with cybernetic parts.
4. New dragon ball set, new off-screen rules?
5. Maybe Freeza doesn't really have a body in hell, per se. That's just his powerless soul, and his "hell" is different from the "hell" another villain may face. For example, Cell's hell may consist of people poking fun at how "imperfect" he is, as opposed to being surrounded by cute stuff.

But none of that is implied. Until there are canon justifications, all of that is pretty inconsistent. =P

1 - First time someone that was died long ago is revived. Its a limitation, it seems.
2 - Bullies always act like they are the strongest when only weaklings are around.
3 - Freeza was too close to the saiyan race. A rebellion could happen like he told. Fear justified. He's overconfident, Its hard for him to get scared of things he just heard too.
4 - Like I said, he's overconfident. There's no point in training if nobody got past his second form.
5 - Still no details about this training. He was reckless and obsessed with revenge though. Having another ssj in front of you was surprising too, when you think its a legend and not a bargain sale.
6- Remember Namekians?! Upgrades can happen.
7- Special treatment so he can "hang out" with the angels of death for all eternity.

Beerus is not in the Universe at the time he said it. Boo was trapped in the cocoon. Also, Barta claims to have been the fastest in the Universe, despite serving on a team with someone faster than him and working for someone faster than him. In other words, it's really likely Freeza was tooting his own horn, anyway.

To eliminate the possibility of there being three beings who would be stronger than him.

We don't know he wasn't already in the process of doing that. Also, Beerus and Boo are deities, so the odds of encountering them were low.

He assumed the cybernetic implants were enough, especially with his father there to back him up should it turn out he's wrong. He's also expecting Goku to have gotten arrogant enough in his power to have abandoned training.

The rule limitations are tied to the creator. Dende is repeatedly seen to have gotten stronger and stronger, with the DBs growing in power alongside him.

7. Why does Freeza have a body in hell?

Having no body isn't a set rule, it's just uncommon. Having a body may even be required for the reincarnation process.

I'm actually liking the sound of the new movie, and I am not going to complain about anything until I actually know the full story.

Something I'm wondering about is the depiction of hell, I mean is it possible everybody has their own version of hell and the one we've seen with Freeza is his "hell"?
