Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

Beerus only says there are 12 universes and that he is the Hakaishin of the 7th. He also pretty much tells us that he's not very informed about these other universes at the end of Battle of Gods. So, even if we assume that that there are other Hakaishin in those universes, I think the idea of them having some sort of connection like that between them would be a bit silly, and not Dragon Ball's usually kind of silly.

Beerus doesn't seem to communicate with these other universe and seem to wake up and sleep on his own schedule. Would all the other Hakaishin have to change their plans because Beerus ate wasabi and Whis knocked his ass to dreamland? I highly doubt the other Hakaishin are all cat-like aliens like Beerus, so what happens if they are incapable of sleeping for a couple dozen years at a time and just go on their rampages at set intervals? Any kind of connection just seems a bit ridiculous. lol

All right I'm gonna go ahead and post my head-canon about the DB Universes.

The premise of the theory is that there's a constant cycle of chi, kind of like the lifestream in Final Fantasy. The Ha-Kaioshin are tasked with destroying worlds so they don't retain too much chi, because after a time the people of a world become more powerful and advanced. Then the Kaio-Shin create new worlds. This is to ensure that the balance of chi is not upset, it has to be... Evenly spread, shall we say. But those who prove themselves in their lives are rewarded by ascension to the upper world, and get to keep their chi.

My head-canon is that the system was put in place afer a major imbalance in the 'original universe' caused it to shatter and break into twelve parts.

The Maine Coon one could be the biggest of the Hakaishin and the Calico can be the angriest. Because orange cats are dicks.

You know since Beerus is clearly based off Anubis, maybe the other gods of destruction will be based off Egyptian gods as well? It would fit the theme imo. Though if they're tasked to do the job of destroying planets perhaps they also have someone above them.

I think it's safe to say Whis is 'above' Beerus, I really want to know more about him actually.

I was thinking it'd be cool if the 12 gods of destruction were based on the chinese zodiac, but Beerus kind of doesn't really fit.

Each god can have a design inspire by a other god from mythology. Maybe have one based on Thor.

I have no idea what the wish will be. I'll bet on the ressurection of the previous Hakaishin. And although the ressurection of the other SSJG is a low possibility, don't throw it out of the window yet just because he has a low powerlevel. We are yet to know if SSJG is a set multiplier or every single SSJG has a set power. Everyone to transform would be a 6 on the scale Toriyama used. And Goku will be able to improve because he absorved the power. Highly unlikely but possible.

If several characters can get stronger he can as well. Also that was a very obvious joke as I posted it once before like a joke - though Broly is actually my favourite character.

I find it unlikely that he got stronger while dead. The anime and Fusion Reborn contradicted this a bit, but if the movie follows the manga, he would have been reincarnated/gone to a Hell which is a lot different than the one in the anime.

That said, I'd like to see, just like in Fusion Reborn with all the villains returning, Broly being revived and having his ass kicked in ten seconds before the main plot even starts. That'd be a 'take that' to all those people who can't say anything but 'Broly is the strongest because he gets stronger every second and no one can beat him and yadda yadda yadda'.

Broly? I think the idea would take a non canon character like Broly and all of a sudden bring him into canon is rather silly.

Anubis is a jackal, not a cat. Beerus has an Egyptian motif, but it's not from Anubis.
