-Just rewtached chapter 5 scans-
I must praise Toyotaro for his style. Being black/white manga I feared that I couldn't tell the difference between base form/saiyan god and super saiyan/super saiyan god, but he did a perfect job with the tones. So, its easily noticeable.

This is all very exciting, and I wonder if universe 7 will lose? (LoL this the kinda thing Toriyama would do

) Although I guess it could also end in a draw or be interrupted too.

Goku and Vegeta is still in ther ROF uniforms with Whis' signature,its possible this happens right after their fight with Freeza.

Seems that way, and Whis mentions their defeat of Golden Freeza like it happened recently too. Though given how vague they were about the BoG time placement in the anime they'll probably mention something vague again when we get to this.

I would preffer a draw so beerus has to fight champa to decide a winner

I don't know, it's already heavily implied Beerus would curbstomp Champa. Whis vs Vados on the other hand...

Why not both? Beerus vs. Champa with Whis & Vados acting as support (unable to attack the opposing Hakaishin directly). =P

I guess, though it's hard to believe Beerus's pride would allow that sort of support. Also, Champa is totally coming off as a puppet master-type villain from the manga; working behind Beerus' back, avoiding direct fights.

Agreed, agreed. I just figured it would be a nice compromise to Beerus wanting to beat up Champa, but Champa probably preferring their attendants fight instead so he would have the advantage. Plus, Whis is already showing off some new skills in Super, so this could allow us to see what kind of creative abilities Whis and Vados have.

I really expect to see them fighting at full power, I mean if Beerus x SSJG Goku was a battle which threatened the existence of the universe, I wonder how would be a battle between Vados and Whis, both 100%

This might not be the best idea, but is there anyway we could create individual Chapter threads like the anime episodes?
That way each thread is chapter specific? If some people are just now starting to read the manga, they would most likely have a hard time discussing it on this one single thread, as it would probably be rather ignored in favor of the latest chapter.

It didn't even occur to me to ask this until just now, but in this new chapter, do Goku and Vegeta still have their same outfits from Resurrection 'F'? Or is it back to their same-old attire that we've had for ages now?

No, they're in their Resurrection "F" outfits still and it seems to be the status quo moving forward.

I wouldn't mind new outfits though, but I definitely don't want to go backward.

Sweet, I was hoping that was the case, because same here. I've got nothing against the iconic outfits of course, but it is nice to finally see things spiced up a bit more. It's part of the reason why I like the end-of-Z/GT outfit of Goku's so much - it's kinda nice to see him get out of the orange for a while.

I'm happy we're doing new outfits. Gokû's F dougi is cute and fluttery. Vegeta's is both cool and provided fun jokes about how that top frames him. X3 The rump hat. I can totally buy the in universe story that Bulma designed Vegeta's outfit.

Vados states humanity was devastated by a war
Champa states he will use 5 humans from his Earth

That wouldn't make sense. Especially since the bet has to do with the Earth of their respected Universes.

And 5 warriors from an uninhabited Earth would make more sense because...? Besides, Beerus and co. don't want it.

That is the correct line, "five individuals from each universe". It's U7's Earth that is in dispute, we don't know yet what Beerus' team would gain from winning, other than keeping their Earth.
