Yeah, that's why I said I think I'm gonna get Japanese version, if so for the music. I'm not sure yet about the sources from IGN. I'll wait & see if this is true or not.

My reason to buy the Japanese version is pretty similar to yours, and I'm sure that most other people also like the music much better than the recycled ones.

And, if you like the music that much, here's a new video for you to drool over with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrppU0Olnvo

Oh man now thats some good music.

The gameplay can use more tweaking though.

Where does it need tweaking? It looks pretty sound to me.

And I'll just hope for a Japanese sound and music option on the Wii version. XD If not, I'll just live with recycled Budokai music. <.<;; Although 80s DB music would be much much preferred. But it won't make me wait half a year or more until someone discovers a method to bypass the Wii's region encoding.

New video...again.
Remember the video with the Genki-dama? Well, here is another Genki-dama video and yes, it's known to increase in size this time around.

The Wii is region-free, so unless they lock the game, you should be able to import it.

I love that you can charge the Spirit Bomb, I wonder though if it has a limit to how much it can be charged, if so I hope that when it is fully charged they do a quick cutscene and show him unleashing the spirit bomb like he did in Budokai 3. Going back to another video, is Goku doing a Kamehameha with one hand or is he just throwing a random attack?

I wonder if there's a limit to how often you can add on to the Genki dama. >.>;; This could very well become a cheap tactic if you can slap on extra energy to the Genki dama every time you floor your enemy or get enough distance and in the process create the most devestating object in DBZ fighting game history. XD

Edit: And no, no, that's been debunked now, the Wii is NOT region-free.

It's the "Enraged Kamehameha" or "Angered/Angry Kamehameha". I kind of disagree with Spike's choice of integrating this move as part of Super Saiyan Goku's normal moveset. I mean, Angry Kamehameha was used only when he got extremely furious at Freeza for being ungrateful. Therefore, I think it would only make sense if Angry Kamehameha was only usable in that part of the story mode. Does Goku get that furious later on in the series? I don't think so.

Edit- Plus he says "ばかやろう!!!bakayaro!!!" very nastily when firing that shot, which really doesn't make sense in random battles or other battles. What if he's just training with Gohan in the Room of Spirit and Time? Is he just gonna call him "bakayaro/bastard!!!" all the time?

Well, Goku doesn't necessarily create a Super Spirit Bomb (ala Buu Saga) when roughing around with Gohan in the Room of Spirit and Time but you can do it in Budokai 3. I think that'd be overkill for just sparring. Same for the Warp Kamehameha.

It's just a nod to a very cool part of the series.

What would be really cool (but probably included in a game further down the road) would be you get to use there Spirit Bomb when it is in the small ball form (as seen in Saiyan Saga and Movie 3). I'm glad you get to charge it in this game but I would've liked the option to have the small Spirit Bomb up to the Super Spirit Bomb

New trailer @ GameTrailers. Scroll down and watch the video called "Land, Sea and Air Gameplay".

Its only about 2 minutes long, but its cool as hell. Shows off a host of alternate costumes (namely for Goku, Gohan and Krillin) and graphical changes. We also get to see battle damaged Teen Gohan from the Cell Saga, and its looking extremely accurate. :D

Yeah, we saw Goku charge it multiple times, right?

One charge = Mini Genki dama (vs. Vegeta),
Two charges = Bigger Genki Dama (vs. Freeza),
Three charges = Big 'ol Genki Dama (vs. Buu),
And four charges = 'Holy-crap-that's-big' Genki Dama (vs. last Shadow Dragon)

At least, that would be cool if it were that way. But hey, you can only fit so much customization into a single game, right?

That would be cool, that is what I'm hoping for in the next game.

I like to shoot that one hand kamehameha any time when I feel I am
going to lose. You see just because he used one time in the series is
not a good reason to restrict the technique.

Or else we would end up removing "father and son kamehameha" for
teen gohan too, or "spirit ball" for yamcha.. etc..

I think I am going to get the north american crap copy of the game this
time. I mean, I got Sparking in japanese, but it was really hard to get
throught the game. I will be very sorry about the music though.

Tell you what.. I will try to hack the game, and put the japanese music
in the tenkaichi budokai 2!

Right, I forgot how much I liked Father and Son Kamehameha. To be quite frank, I had the same negative thought about the Father and Son Kamehameha when I first used it in Budokai 3. Yeah, surely I agree with you on that. Just because I have never used it, doesn't mean I won't like it!

Really? Thanks for bringing that to our attention! :P

I really hated what they did to the Father-Son Kamehameha in Tenkaichi. It look just like a Super Kamehameha, they didn't even at Goku standing behind Gohan! I hope that they at least include him in the attack for Tenkaichi 2

Are you talking about the Prologues/Epilogues of the Cell arc part of the game or the actual attack in the game? From what I remember, Super Saiyan 2 Gohan only had Super Kamehameha, not Father and Son Kamehameha. Which means that Spike never intended that move to function as the latter.

One note I would like to make on Super Genki-dama. From recent trailers, I can only say that the attack only happens in the cutscene with Kid Boo. Then how would we know if Father and Son Kamehameha is actually a usable during battles? I watched very closely to the trailer and saw two lifebars on the screen during the Father and Son, but they weren't present during the Super Genki-dama. Still have my fingers crossed on that attack, though.

That wouldn't be good.

But, even if they did decide to do that, with a little bit of hacking, we could probably find a way to bypass it.

I don't know if anybody has noticed this one but it looks like every site has the North American release has been pushed back until November 7th. I was really hoping to have this by the end of October like the first game last year.
