Super Saiyan Asspull has a better ring to it in my opinion, but I can roll with Super Saiyan Bullshit

If you want to go full weeb, it's "Supah Saiya-jin Ikari". Don't know why people don't use the translation though, y'know, since we're all speaking English here.
I will never go full weeb. The process may kill me. The reason why some people don't use the translation is because Super Saiyan Rage sounds like shit. While Super Saiyan Ikari sounds decent
they're both terrible. One just sounds dumb, and the other sounds ridiculous. It's like that one guy who went out of his way to say "Dai San Dankai" every time he was talking about USSJ or SSJ Grade 3 (the form Trunks fought Perfect Cell in)

I'd rather take ridiculous over dumb. But at the end of the day.

Both of the names are arse

I'm little tired of SSJ, and was hoping, that after introduction of Blue, Goku and Vegeta won't need to turn into any regular SSJ after getting god form

Because Super Saiyan contrasts with "Ikari", whereas the effect is lost when all of it is in terms recognizable in English. It's part of the appeal of subs for a lot of people. The unintentional humor of JJBA's Engrish makes the show a lot more memetic to English-speakers, & some have sworn off any dubs because of that. The contrast is funny.

That s aid, I thought SS Rage was a terrific combo of Brooklyn Rage & Super Saiyan Swagger...so, yeah.

Ah, yes. Who could forget such great lines like "GO AHEAD MISTER JOSTURR" and "DU YU UNDERSTANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDU"?

I personally prefer Ikari because no other Super Saiyan form's name has been translated.
Super Saiyan 2 is "Supa Saiya-jin Tsu". Not "ni".
Super Saiyan 3 is "Supa Saiya-jin Suri". Not "san".
Super Saiyan God is "Supa Saiya-jin Goddo". Not "kami".
Super Saiyan Blue is "Supa Saiya-jin Buruu". Not "aoi".
Point is, the trend is that the same word is used in both Japanese and English. So if "ikari" is the Japanese word, then I think it should be the English word as well. I'd prefer the form's name to be used in the show in the first place, though... It grinds my gears a bit that we have no explanation and have to resort to Heroes to get even a name.

There was always an in-show reason for the form to be named. Before Goku explained them to Boo and Babidi, they were left entirely up to fans and magazines to categorize. The god forms were called out as well. Trunks' transformation happened at a critical moment and nobody bothered to take the time to say "Woah, what's going on? Some sort of... Super Saiyan Rage?! Yes, he's achieved this new Super Saiyan Rage form! Impossible!" We'll likely never see it again either, as Trunks has been whisked away to another timeline. No reason for anyone to mention it ever again... and I'm super okay with it, to be honest. The only way I could see it happening with anyone else is with Gohan snapping, as a form only half-Saiyans could achieve, but... honestly, who expects anything substantial for Gohan at this point.

...so when you mention Super Saiyan 3 or Super Saiyan God aloud in conversation, do you say "Super Saiyan Suri" or "Super Saiyan Goddo?" Because that's how ridiculous "Super Saiyan Ikari" sounds. Unless it has a name pun that doesn't work in English, it's sort of messy mixing the two.

That's not really accurate. They are translated: Super Saiyan 2 (Goku uses the English "two"), Super Saiyan 3 (Goku uses the English "three"), Super Saiyan God (Beerus uses the English "god"), Super Saiyan Blue (Goku uses the English "blue"), & Super Saiyan Anger (Dragon Ball Heroes doesn't use English approximation). For that matter, "Super" Saiyan itself is conveyed via English approximation in its original text instead of Japanese characters. When you're reading Dragon Ball in its original language, the Japanese equivalent for those terms are deliberately adapted in katakana. However Future Trunks cuts it, one is expected to translate his form under the logic that the "Super Saiyan brand" is consistently portrayed as a "foreign" term in the series. "Super Saiyan Anger" is a serviceable, direct translation & I can't really support "Ikari" staying behind in English.

Might be a common one, but people calling 23rd Budôkai Goku "Teen Goku." To paraphrase GafferTape in his DB dissection series, it's not during the Saiyan Arc that everyone freaks out about Goku growing up, it's in the Piccolo Jr. Arc. Kind of softens the blow, don't you think? I mean, shit, people will gladly call 16-year old Gohan "Adult Gohan," (gotta praise the Raging Blast series for at least trying to be more accurate by calling him "adolescent") and Goku's two years older than him in his so-called "Teen" incarnation.

11-year-old Gohan being called "Teen Gohan" is absolutely ridiculous, too.

One thing that angers me a lot is when people refer to Freeza as a female.I am from Greece and in the Greek DBZ dub he was a woman so I can't really blame them, but it still annoys me.

People when they exaggerate Goku's battle maniac tendencies to the point where they paint him as an unfeeling, callous, deplorable junkie on the same level of depravity, if not, higher, than the villains.

Episode 77 of Super immediately comes to mind.

How could they he's just so feminine. What grinds my gears is when people say that his race is asexual

I remember when Goku managed to kill off his entire family in the Buu saga. That happened

I mean, he kinda is a horrible father and leaves everyone close to him forever with nary a word at the end of Z, just so he can train and fight someone he just met.

It annoys me to no end how just as it seemed like he finally grew up and started acting (somewhat) like a mature adult at the end of Cell and the entirety of Buu, all of that is thrown out the window to maintain the status quo.

That being "part of his character" doesn't make it any less unlikable.
