Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

Lol omg guys. For those saying "Marron looks younger than she did in the Buu saga!" And then they linked a picture...uhm...they linked a picture from the Tenkaichi Budokai that happens after Buu... The one that also happens AFTER this movie. So...uhm..yeah? She does look younger? Like she's supposed to...?

Here's the only good panel of her I can find.

Which I would definitely say looks older, even by a little bit, compared to her Battle of Gods look.



(Yes, I'm pretty sure that shot itself is from the Toriko/OP/DBZ crossover, but still.)

I recall even in the special features for BoG, Sabat said something along the lines of, "For Gohan, I know in Kai we kind of tried to make it more serious, but this is Dragon Ball Z again. We're trying to recapture that feel."

I could be misremembering, but wasn't the wording on his comment there a little more vague? I seem to remember taking it more along the lines of 'Keep in mind while you're recording that this is Gohan after the events of DBZ, not him younger like where we're recording in Kai'.

@ Goken - It's fine to talk about it and be concerned, but just don't be so overly-dramatic about it, ya know?

It's also a completely different hairstyle with a completely different facial expression with completely different art style...

I'm probably wrong, been a while since I saw those special features. But I think it's a shame they reused Kyle for the narrator... Again I like the guy in Kai a lot more. Lol

It's no different than when everyone talks about Vegeta for 10 pages.

It's not really fair to compare someone like Vegeta to Goten cause Vegeta is the second main character of the story while Goten is...Goten.

Also, now seeing a shot of 18 and Marron again from BOG's time...huh. The design sheet version has 18 lacking the lightning bolt on her shirt, while Marron is lacking the peace symbol.

Always wonder why Bulma hair ain't purple like in Path to Power.

Bulma hair being blue is one of that typical changes that happens between manga and anime colours.
When Future Trunks appears, I can see Toei staff be like: Now what?! Purple or Blue?!
Trunks BOG character design has blue hair. Just a error that was fixed in the movie, fortunately.

Given the shot of Goku lying on the ground, beaten... My guess is, given Freeza and Beerus, there are going to be people he simply can't beat... And when he sees Uub, the reincarnation of Buu, he thinks... If Freeza got that strong in just 4 months of training... What about Buu's reincarnated self? He'd have to be amazingly strong. And so...a new savior of the Earth is born?
