Yeah, I wish the what-if characters were more subdued and interesting (like Pillin/Pirurin, whatever) rather than SSJ567 Super Duper Uber Gogeta III. The main thing I want from this game is a decent story mode. What really made Budokai 3 and BT2 for me was the map-based adventure mode. BT3 felt like a step backwards because of its utterly lacklustre Dragon History mode and its total abandonment of the more involving adventure modes. Combine the map-based adventure modes with what-if scenarios and I'll bake a god damn delicious cake for Spike or whoever's making this.
Edit
SSJ3 ChiChi, motherfuckers.
Fuck yeah. This is what I'm talking about!

Does this mean we get to have a debate about whether or not the Legendary Super Saiyan is just Broly's SS2 form?

Nah; we can assume he jumped forms; kind of like how Gotenks goes from Super Saiyan to Super Saiyan 3.

I never enjoyed flying around those pointless maps. As adventure mechanics go it was so limited that it just became a chore. Much preferred BT3's method, although it could have done with being more comprehensive and having better cutscenes.
Or better yet, go the Budokai 2 method. Loved that.

This SSJ3 Broly mess is just a marketing ploy to get more Broly fanboys to buy the game.

Well, he is just a what-if character.
Unless, there is a new movie being made for Kai with SSJ3 Broly in it.

Haha, 2 months ago everyone was afraid that Raging Blast would suck. (No ingame transformation, no Buu Saga, no new gameplay features, less characters, bad next-gen graphics, etc.)
Now with the trailer (

There were parts of that trailer that made me super pumped. But then there were a lot of parts that made me want to puke in my mouth. That's pretty much how I feel about the game though. I'll buy it. I'll enjoy it.

Heh. I'd watch it, if only for the new animation.

How strong do you think he's going to be? As strong as SSJ4 Gogeta or stronger?

HE BETTER NOT BE. SS3 Broly is cool and everything but he'd still get shit on by Super Vegetto or Gogeta.

Then they're just gonna have to add an AF style SSJ5 Broly.

He's a nobody to me.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Considering his power was maximum in the LSSJ form, I guess he would be...
beyond maximum.

Either way, it's alright, but does this game lack an english track?. I'm a fan of both the English and JP versions of the show, but I'm curious. It'd be odd if there was no in-game dub.

There is. It's been shown at demos.

There has always been an English dub for a DBZ game since Budokai 1.

Well, the graphics look nice in motion; I'm not crazy about how Goku's model turned out this time around (Vegeta and Piccolo on the other hand look really nice) but yeah, pretty graphics.
I still would prefer a longer roster of stages. I got to fight during a blizzard in one of the early PS2 DB games, I'd love to be able to fight there again. Or in the rain. I just want some high-intensity weather to battle in. Desserts and fields get boring over time, you know?
