At least Crystal isn't going to go on that much longer. It's only 13 total I think.
Production began on the series well in advanced, so at the very least production should be ending soon, too.

Good to know. I'm enjoying Season 3 well enough, but as it goes on I realize I'm more a fan of Ikuhara's Sailor Moon than I am Takeuchi's Sailor Moon.
On hiatus.

Do you have gifs of his previous work?

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

If I remember correctly these two are him

I'm not entirely sure of everything he did in Episode 39, he did 4 cuts for the episode and I know he did the clashes where it was close up on Goku and Hit's upper bodies from the front (Just like Goku in that first GIF), but beyond that I don't know. I think he did the cut where Hit timeskips over to Goku and then gets a gut full of his fist and then takes a few blows, but I could be wrong. Ajay and Jacob are both a lot better at picking out who did what in an episode than I am so they might know.
As for some non Dragon Ball work of his you can see some here. https://sakuga.yshi.org/post?tags=ken_otsuka

Only the second flurry of punches is Otsuka in that first clip. Everything before that is Tate.

So Otsuka is the one that does the DBZ-esque repetitive punches and kicks animation?

He's only worked on Episodes 5 and 39, but yeah he did those in those episodes, but he also did that first Kamekameha in 5 (I think) and he had a total of 4 cuts in 39 so he did more than just repeating punches probably. He also worked on the third opening.

Looking like #48 would be done by shimanuki.
As for #47 we got to see some two new key animators
Naoi Masahiro and Asanuma Akihiro, plus a new script writer.

Yeah, the NEP definitely looks like Shimanuki. I wonder if Toma will be working with him.

I wonder what happened. So hatano coming in WAS indeed to ease him into the main director role.

Maybe Chioka wasn't even in the show anymore when Toei started crediting both of them. They do that, sometimes..

Anyway, i was more afraid Hatano could leave from now on, as i really like his work.

Chioka either got fed up with being screwed over or was given the chance to direct a new special or film.

If there is a new movie we'll probably be finding out within a month or so.
If we do get a new movie I hope it's a canon story set between the Future Trunks arc and whatever the next arc is.

With right budget, and good cast, Toei can create really good shows, first Sailor Moon Crystal S3, now Popin Q, i just watched trailer, seem to be really interesting dark magical girl movie http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... es/.103289

Did Chioka even end up doing something in Super?

It could be between Champa arc and Future arc too.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.
