How is Frost an example of not understanding that Freeza's forms are repression forms?

Frost, even though he is a completely different person from Freeza and has no connection to him at all besides being from the same race, coincidentally has the same amount of forms with the exact same design.

Well, no he doesn't. He doesn't have the same number of forms, and he doesn't even refer to his forms as "2nd" or "3rd" or anything like that, he has this First form, his Assault form and then his Final Form. He said that he doesn't use his Final Form because he accidentally killed somebody with the power of it. That is completely 100% in line with what we know of Freeza and the purpose of his forms, in Frost's case he has suppression forms for the purposes of not accidentally killing people with his overwhelming power.(Or at least, that's the facade he was putting on to people.) Therefore, he has forms to suppress it. Not the slightest clue how you managed to somehow misconstrue this to be Frost being a clone of Freeza with the same forms but not actually using them as suppression forms. He has 3 forms, not 4, and he also uses them for suppression purposes.

Toyotaro showed his second form in the manga, and Frost showed 100% full power in the anime, so between all the continuities, he shares all of Freeza's forms.

I don't care about the reason he has those forms, that's not on Toriyama's part, that's on Toei's writers who I'll commend for remembering that the forms are supposed to be suppression forms. Toriyama evidently designed Frost with the same number of forms as Freeza and with the same designs. I won't believe that it was a simple coincidence that the two had the same idea about suppressing their power, chose the same number of forms and designed them in the exact same way. I'll believe the likely option that Toriyama forgot Freeza's true form is his last and that Freeza created his forms, instead viewing Freeza's forms as a transformation tree like the Saiyans and based Frost around that for convenience.

Eh, he wasn't in the movie that I can remember and I pretty much skipped over the RoF arc of the anime. But yes, correct, seems Freeza knows about Fusion in this version. And he knows about potara from the ToP. We know Freeza wants to acquire UI, and if it can't be done with the Dragon Balls his only course of action is to learn in through observation since Freeza has no desire to put himself in danger to learn it. Since being killed again wouldn't serve his purpose any.

Geekdom said that at least one of the battles appears to take place in an alternate dimension. I'd imagine that once the powers-that-be reach a certain level and start threatening to destroy the earth/universe, Whis will teleport them to a place where said battle cannot cause any collateral damage.

There's no hypocrisy in respecting and/or appreciating the author's take on his own character over someone else's take as mere fans (assuming this is true and does come from Toriyama).

We might get to know what happens to Broly after Chelye makes her wish to save him. Will he be teleported back to planet Vampa/Banpa, or if he's still on Earth and gets to interact with Goku and gang after he calms down.

He got it from a engineer working at a foreign dub studio. I don't think he'd put this info out without being totally confident in this guy cause otherwise it would really hurt his channel going forward and most of what he said happens seems very believable

That's an amazing wish for Freeza. I missed Dragon Ball being funny and wacky, it's a great punchline for a movie so built to cater to the "I WANT LE EPIC LORE FAIGHTS" crowd. Bonus points if Shenron does a monkey's paw and makes him 0.002 of a centimeter taller because fuck Freeza.

Lol, this movie is definitely NOT catering to the fans who want epic and lore fights. It’s been made clear this is catering to Broly fans. And just fans in general as most of this movie is just fanservice.

It’s not for Broly fans either as spoilers clearly reveal he’s going to lose to Gogeta Weak Blue and even needs to get “saved” by a wish from the dragon. Even though he’s supposed to have infinite zenkais that he could spam indefinitely, ensuring his victory against Gogeta Blue. If that is not a dent into a Saiyans pride, i don’t know what is. If Vegeta were dead he would be rolling in his grave in disgust.

“Gogeta Weak Blue”. Must be annoyed UI Goku doesn’t happen and what Baggie, me, and many others were telling you came true.

And yeah, just Broly coming back makes this a Broly movie. Him staying alive, if anything, is an even greater bonus.
