Thanks for the compliments everyone. I actually have about 3 times as much stuff as I posted pictures of, but I don't have it all set up and ready to display. I make a lot of custom figures, so my full collection is always in a state of incompleteness.
The Vegeta in the scene was originally this figure:

I obviously custom sculpted and painted him a bit!
You can't tell in the photo above, but the figure has a pathetic excuse for a nose, so that was the main thing I changed. The tears coming out of his ears, streaming down his face, and dripping off his ear are plastic cement.

The fact that you mod these figures is absolutely incredible.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Quite a few of them are here:

My Janemba is who I am most proud of (though I like my Frieza quite a bit too). I had to do the most sculpting on Janemba. He's made from this X-men Quicksilver figure.

I usually try to just get the figures appropriately resculpted and repainted to be accurate to the anime, and appropriately scaled with the other figures in the line(s) so many of my customs aren't major--calling them modified is more appropriate I guess.
I also have a gallery on toymania.com for my customs. These pics vary in age from 2001 to about 2004. Some of the customs aren't very good, but that's why I am resculpting/repainting those that I haven't already sold to be up to my current abilities.

Custom sculpts have always intrigued me. It amazes me how many different forms of characters have yet to be officially made. Then again, it's a big series with a crapton of characters, so I guess it's understandable.
I vaguely remember seeing some of Brangets's customs while reading through an issue of Beckett DBZ back in the day. It actually got me interested enough to try my hand at customs, too. I was in the middle of making a pretty awesome Kid Boo, but just lost interest, so I just stashed him in an empty cleaned out peanut butter jar. He looks like some kind of genetic experiment just stuck in there. Man, I gotta hunt that down...

Dear God, I want that.
Hm, I have the original figure of that xD. I looked at mine and Brangeta's version, the ears on mine are different colors then the one he made. So he kept his more to the original color, unlike the one I have

The Bubbles figure is a modified version of that one you have and a complete repaint. I actually plan on making another one (since I have an extra unmodified figure) and selling it, but that won't be for awhile. I have a lot of other projects in the works, particularly my entries for Scene Stealers.

I bought the Mai (IFLABS) figure today for $5 Aus, So i think thats about $3.50 USD, So i am happy with that, The detail is pretty amazing, Now i will try and find the Yamcha one and the Launch one, The Goku one looks abit dodgy so i will give that one a miss.
BTW the 2 Supes are from the Select Sculpt Series 3

And as for this guy with the tattoo, does he know that the symbol only has two of those little rectangles, not three? I've always told myself that if I was ever going to get a Dragonball tattoo it would be of that symbol...correctly.
I found an incredibly impressive looking figure collection browsing around google. Some of the best looking figures I've ever laid eyes on. *DROOL
