HyperBlaze wrote:So cause you say/think it's pointless to have three Goku's is that supposed to mean your opinion is FINAL?! Ok..... go hop off a cliff.
Uh... I didn't say that. You're the one acting like your opinion is fact and law.
HyperBlaze wrote:All it did was get him killed and there is'nt that big a time gap for there to be a "Time Specific" one armed Future Gohan I mean how long was it like.... some days?!
We're not told how long it was. It could have been days, weeks, months, years, whatever. We never see him actually with the arm in future, if you go by the manga. So one armed Gohan could have been around longer than the entire time-span of GT.

If you go by the anime Gohan managed to fully recover without any Senzus (he gave the last to Trunks) so it was probably a few weeks at the least. Which is still longer than Cyborg Freeza was around. Or Raditz, or Nappa, or... well, you get the idea.
Humpski wrote:Bright orange gi is one of his alts yeah but you never know he might have another that wasn't available in the demo.
Yep. And we know that several characters have three costumes. Characters that already had three from the last game(s) and some that are getting new ones this time. I've seen screenshots of Videl with her pallete swap from BT1/2 and ones of her with pigtails. We don't even know what any of Arale's, Blue's, #8's, Akkuman's, Nam's, or any of the other new (non demo) characters alts look like. And even then the alts in the demo could have just been put there to give them something.
Conan wrote:In my honest opinion, a One-Arm skin is not necessary, as Mirai Gohan's fought two other battles (one being in a Perfect Cell saga flashback with Trunks, as already said, where he somehow has the scars) with both arms. If anything, the fact he more fights in a one-arm style gives him a cool uniqueness as it is for the game, he doesn't need to lack one because of the single losing battle he fought. Although, it is a nice homage that it goes limp once he's been battle-damaged IMO.
Unless you go by the manga in which case he never fought with both arms. Ever. And beyond this, fighting one armed is not only pointless, it's stupid, when you have both of them. It makes sense with a one armed alternate skin but if that's not in the game it's just a horrible idea because it makes no sense.
Conan wrote:As it is, it really doesn't look like he'll have it as an alternate skin, as I seriously think they would've revealed it in place of the lighter gi alternate.
Maybe. Maybe not. We didn't know all the costumes for other characters in BT1/BT2 until we had the game. For example, Spike made no real mention, anywhere, that Goku's 6th costume give him his original SSJ hair style.

<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

Spike might just have dropped the "struggling to stay in the air" animation from the DB characters, letting them fight more freely in the air.

I hope that they also drop the "falling on their own backs" animation, as that was just annoying. Let them land normally...

I could be wrong since I haven't played either of the first two games for a while now, but I think a lot of characters looked kinda limp once they were at low health. I don't think it's meant as a reference to a one-armed Gohan.

I know for a fact Teen Gohan does it. Vegeta sorta does, but he holds his arm, making it more like when he got it broken by 18.

I can fully understand why people are pissed off at Arale being in the game.

First you take everyone on the DBZ Atari forums
Then you narrow that down to the people who watched Dragonball
Then you narrow that down to the people who watched the general blue arc.
Then you narrow THAT down to the people who know about and read Dr.Slump to get a full understanding of who she is.

People are just ignorant and she seems like a random character thrown in although she has a long line of history with Mr.Toriyama of course 90% of the Atari tools don't know who Akira Toriyama is anyway. In short I love her and I’m so glad she is in the game, but to the "DBZ IS the BEZT SERIES CUZ IT HAS MOAR BLOOD THAN DARGONBALL" dubbies she just seems random.
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

Um, I haven't been quite following lately... Are Arale and Blue the two last characters, or do we have right for 2 more...?
I can't believe Rild's been ignored once again, if that's the case...

I don't see why everyone gets so worked up. It looks like this game is going to be cool so let's just take it for what it is and enjoy it. What's the point of getting into heated debates and telling people to "jump off a cliff" over a videogame? Oi.

And I don't see anyone on this particular board getting "worked up" over the game, at least not like over on Atari. The discussions here are possitively lucid by comparison.

Well, I think telling someone to "jump off a cliff" kind of classifies under taking it a little too seriously. We all have our own opinions on what should or shouldn't be in this game and arguing it with eachother isn't going to change anything. I for one am looking forward to this...though I am a little disappointed about the lack of original characters.

I'm satisfied with the final count. Arale looks so cute :)

I just wish I knew why the Atari boards are always clamoring for GT characters and disrespecting Dragonball and it's fans.
It's strange this hero thing. Whole lives devoted completely to helping others. For no financial reward whatsoever. Struggling ceaselessly against impossible odds, risking almost certain death to help those in trouble. I...I just hope its not catching, yes?

Cuz they are 14 year old dubbies with A.D.H.D. who are too filled with hormones to appreciate anything but big burly men intensely pounding on each other and shooting each other with laser beams.

They can't appreciate the humor of Dragonball.

That sounds like some hormonal puberty thing the way you just put it

At least we have some clear-head thinkers here (and over there too). I'm knocking those who like DBGT or those charcacters, as I respect everyone's opinions. I just wish they'd respect ours is all.
But enough downers.... I'm looking forward to this! My favorite thing I'm looking forward to is getting all the characters, and pitting known combatants against each other in story mode just to hear their taunt/win quotes.
