I don't understand! Weren't those books supposed to come out towards the end of the month? How do people have them already?
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

Bookstores get books way ahead of their release date. They remain in the back until the date they're supposed to be put out.Chrono Trigger wrote:I don't understand! Weren't those books supposed to come out towards the end of the month? How do people have them already?
Because of this, (the warehouses having them ahead of time), if you order a book at the online stores, you can get it before it hits shelves most of the time.

Oh I see. I went there yesterday and one of the workers there told me the books were "In Transit" so I wonder if they have them by now?Chuquita wrote:Bookstores often get books ahead of their release date. They remain in the back until the date they're supposed to be put out.

It could either mean "they're inside a truck on its way to the store" OR "they're in the supply room but I can't tell you that".Chrono Trigger wrote:Oh I see. Aw man, I was hoping that wasn't the case. I saw on some other forums that some people saw some copies at their local Borders/Barnes and Noble.Chuquita wrote:It could either mean "they're inside a truck on its way to the store" OR "they're in the supply room but I can't tell you that".

Well, I have a shift tomorrow, so I'll find out then if the four copies we're due to expect at my BnN have arrived.Chrono Trigger wrote:Aw man, I was hoping that wasn't the case. That would be nice. I gotta say you're lucky to work at a place like that. It's tough getting hired at those spots...but enough off topic-ness....Chuquita wrote:Well, I have a shift tomorrow, so I'll find out then if the four copies we're due to expect at my BnN have arrived.
