I feel like LSSJ Kale is definitely Toyotaro's invention and design (obviously the shot above is Yamamuro)

It seems like Kale will also have a slightly less buffed version, as they already showed another design for her some months ago. Though she still had green hair.

So the Weekly Jump preview for 94 makes it sound like the tournament won't start on episode 95. Hopefully it starts on 96, but now I'm thinking they might hold it off till 97 and have the tournament start in the new cour and the 2 year anniversary of the show.
In the event that it starts on 97 here is a redone prediction on supervisors

94 - Itai
95 - Nashizawa
96 - Yashima (though it could be Shimanuki)
97 - Tate

If it does start on 97 it's interesting that Tu started working hard on it so many weeks in advance when he's someone who works on a ton of episodes in a row.

That's pretty early for Tate, considering he usually comes before Karasawa/Shida

Nice teeth shot, I wish we had more of that in the series.
neolux wrote:Also I was looking for another interesting image but in this case someone took a shot of Cabba vs. Vegeta and they kinda tried to made it look like "the old dbz style" but it's not just a recoloring of the shot; they redrew some things. Anyways, I want you to look at it and know your opinions about it

Edit: I definitely like more Vegeta's hair in the image of below.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro
Favourite new DB Animators: Yuya Takahashi and Chikashi Kubota

There seems like not much is going on now in this thread. I mean it's not even updated with latest episodes and i'm new on it and i don't know what the earlier posts and i'm bored so i'm checking and actually it's pretty fun watching and seeing how this has been progressing and evolving and what i wrote is not criticizing him or making fun

His last episode was 72, and since then we haven't seen him on any show, except ēlDLIVE as a key animator.
Too bad animatorcorners is down. We can't know for sure if he's credited on another show...

Inb4 Karasawa has been working all this time to do one big tournament episode full of fighting with good art and animation.

(I know, I know. It's not going to happen)

Yeah, I've personally mentioned in this thread how my opinion has completely changed haha. Overall, it's now Manabe and Tate. From an art perspective it's now Shimanuki and Karasawa. It'll probably change again, who knows ?

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

The tournament probably won't start until July, since Tiger mask ends July.

It looks weird but good at the same time. I really can't tell because the image is so low quality.

Edit: Actually it looks bad, look at the back ends of Goku hair and his face, his clothes look weird too, I don't expect the episode to look this bad though.

Looks pretty good to me. I don't know if it's Manabe though, hard to tell but the ear looks pretty detailed and his ears are generally pretty simple. Could be him though. I have a hard time picking him out in small images.

It does look like rough karasawa art, the same we saw at episode 72 but a man can only dream and hope that he comes back

Doesn't really look rough to me, the proportions of the hair are a bit lopsided, but the art looks pretty good overall.
I don't think it's Karasawa.

Looks ok to me.

I think Goku looks a little too fat in that shot. Other than that, it looks ok to me.
