Honestly he's my favourite master so far. His lines make me giggle. I'm proud to have him be my Z-assist. With it I got the alternate ending to the final boss fight.
Black_Liger wrote:In all seriousness though, How do you unlock more master missions? The only master that has been teaching me regularly is Ginyu... I don't know what's the catch xD
If you mean more masters, you level up more and more til a certain point they can teach you. If you mean find them, it's completely random (random in general being the worst part of this game). If you mean more missions with Ginyu, then you do quests (and maybe Time Patrol counts too) over and over again til a question mark appears above his head. You can check player data to see your progress with each master.

I fixed it! My game works fine now. :3
It's also super-late at night. -_-
I gotta get sleep.

Planning to play this in Japanese; though Eric Vale's "Whatcha think?" was awesomely delivered (and so have all of Chris Ayers lines in the prologue) so I'm thinking of bouncing back and forth language-wise to whatever I feel like at the moment.
On hiatus.

Does anyone wish they could fly in Toki Toki? I doubt that would be added in a future DLC, but hope eventually in Xenoverse 2.

Flying might be hell to program for online with a bunch of people on a server. Running faster I'd really like though.

Yeah, that's true. I'm just thinking of the grand possibilities with this game. For flight, Toki Toki would have to be bigger. You're right though, running faster would be more ideal.

I'm kinda glad the stream I watched basically only did the stuff they needed to for the story and Parallel Quests. Talking to the NPCs is actually one of the best parts of the game.

The Time Kaioshin talks about how the Scroll functions. Trunks talks about how the Time Kaioshin was able to develop a time machine that doesn't cause timeline splits as well as why he's working for her. One of the other Time Patrollers comments on how he's fixing distortions in another era. A war has broken out between the Red Ribbon Army and Piccolo Daimao, who managed to absorb Kami. Tis fun.

I was reading that exact comment earlier today! It would have been interesting to see how that would be like lol

The CPU doesn't actually have infinite ki/stamina. When you use the scouter/energy sense, you can see how much health/ki they have left. Stamina, on the other hand, isn't there but keeping track of how many teleports/escape moves they can use is easier as time passes. Escape moves take 3 bars, teleporting takes 2, so most characters have either 2 teleports or one escape move off the bat.

Long story short, Xenoverse feels a little like Ultimate Ninja Storm to me now and I don't know how I feel about yet.

Damn I missed some hidden lore...I wanna know it all.

Though that Daimao absorbing God thing I find a little hard to believe since both parties have to do it. Not sure why God would merge with Daimao.

Something tells me that they can't do that. They've been advertising the pre-order bonuses right up until this week, which would constitute as totally false advertisement

Just starting and having fun with it.

Noobie question though:

When I'm wailing on a CPU sometimes they use some kind of red aura to cancel my combo and I get hurt and knocked back. What am I supposed to when that happens? Can I counter it or is there some kind of evasive move I need to do?

I don't have acces to my computer right now to write proper notes for this, so I'm just going to use the forum.

Time Kaioshin also says something about hearing a few million years ago that Toki Toki can grant chose people something called "Toki Toki's Protection". Though she doesn't really know because only other gods have met the bird before. (?)

I'm confused.

If any of you have seen a Saiyan named Tapoto with a green dougi and Yamcha's sword, that is me. Had to make it on my brother's PSN since my PS3/account tied to it is at my Mom's house.

I've been avoiding the hell out of this thread until I've played the game for myself but now that I have I can finally give my thoughts.

I fucking love this game. It's soooooo good!!

The story missions, wow! Something different! Towa and Mira were great and I loved every moment when they appeared and I had to go against them. Demigra was great and the final boss with him was awesome. I got a good 10-12 hours out of this story so I feel satisfied.

I created a Saiyan Character, his name is Cumber (pun on the vegetable Cucumber) and he was able to achieve Super Saiyan 2 with the help of his master Cell! Also, I have to mention this, Dameon Clarke delivered what has to be his best performance of Cell ever! He was amazing in this game and some of the stuff he said had me pausing the game just so I could laugh. If you have Cell as your master, try and get a Z rank in a mission, you won't regret it.

The game looks great and the stages are fantastic (especially the city stages, they're not destroyed for once!). Combat is really good but kind of loose at times, I find myself missing combos sometimes but it's nothing too bad.

Character customisation is the highlight for me, I find myself playing as my created character over other characters because it's such a well made customisation system.

The game's soundtrack is the 2nd best DBZ video game soundtrack ever (behind Tenkaichi 2) holy crap it's good. There were some dialogue problems in the game, sometimes character's voices would be too low to hear, I'm not sure if this is a problem in the Japanese dialogue but it did occur with the English version.

I love how the missions are actually challenging and not unfair (except for that fight with Beerus and Whis THAT can go fuck itself) and the game encourages you to do side content so you can level up your character which is a great way to get the hang of things.

Overall, this is officially my favourite DBZ game ever (sorry Tenkaichi 2, I still love that game though). Huge props to Dimps, they've outdone themselves here.

Guys. Those who you who already have the game... Where is the DLC code? Inside the cover? Is it on a light paper, or a piece that you can hear when shaking the cover?

The reason I'm asking is this: I was at Gamestop earlier this week to pre-order the game. Their card system did not work, and the guy working there said he could fix it for my anyway. So I walked from there believing I had pre-ordered the game.

HOWEVER, when I went there today to get my pre-order, as I talked to the clerck, the guy who had made this "deal" for me said "he DIDN'T pre-order the game"... (talking about me).

I did, however, get the steel case. But now I have no idea if I got the DLC bonuses or not. And I don't want to risk taking the shrink wrap off.

Can anyone help me?!

Does the box have a "Day One Edition" emblem in the top right of the cover? That would be the first thing to check for.

The DLC code was on a paper inside the box, where this instruction manual would be (assuming you have the day one edition, anyway).

It does not... So Gamestop fucked me over, huh?
