Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

Finally I can post something... LOL

My thoughs on the new updates in this latest period:

1. For Freeza to get resurrected in pieces... maybe it can make sense... I remember Shenlon said after the Cell saga that he does not have power over the androids, so he can not make them humans. It turned out that he can take the bombs out from them, so he has resticted power over them. Being that Freeza died with half(or so) mechanical body maybe he could restore Freeza only in that way, just like he said. So it can make sense...

2. Traning for only 4 months would grant Freeza the power to beat Majin Buu punisher Goku..... It can make sense, as he never trained before(as he is a prodigy), but I can not buy that Freeza will be able to take down God Goku, something more should happen. Maybe Sorbet will find a way to steal Goku's God power via technology.

3. Gohan to ponder about as him being able to become a Super Saiyan... I don't really see why would he do that... But if he doesn't really train, then I can understand that... as being a daddy, after all. And if he uses the SSJ form only against those low-level soldiers, and also becoming Mystic afterwards against Freeza, that would be the ultimate combination

4. Nozawa to hype the movie... It really made me glad as she talked about some unexpected feats. My hopes are being kept alive again...

5. I'm really happy to see Whis in action, even for the trainning session.


I expect that the DB multiverse issue will be unconvered further with Freeza's appearance. I'm almost sure that Freeza won't die in the end.

No he wasn't, he even complained that "Why does Kakarotto get to be the God" which Bulma shuts Vegeta up about his whining.

Vegeta gets moody instead of just taking it as a chance to grow stronger and reach new limits.

Yeah he complained but he still did it unlike during the Broly fight where they had to beg him over and over.

He gets moody in front of people but the Buu arc showed us what he thinks deep down which is something he'll never let out to anyone else.

Yeah...deep down he'll never realize Goku can't give less of a shit about being the stronger of the two. So there's really no point in trying to flaunt to someone who doesn't care.

I really like this concept of Hell, for everyone, just not being able to move for all eternity is punishable enough, my only problem with this movie is, and i know i sound like a broken record, Pilaf, as we see here and in BoG, they are still dangerous villains, who wants to use Dragon Balls for world domination, why they got revived? And why no one killed them? That always was one of main points in DB, do not underestimate anyone, even if it look small/harmless/stupid. That's my main problem with this and previous movie.

Seems we have yet another goal of them releasing it in 30 countries.

According to animenewsnetwork BoG was released in 26 countries so looks like this will get a wider release as it says over 30 countries.

As for Frieza's new form like someone said earlier I think whatever it ends up being will initially disappoint most fans.

Before the SSJ God was revealed people were coming up with all these grand ideas like a Golden SSJ4 but then when it was revealed a lot of people were disappointed because its design was so simplistic and too much like the Kaioken.

I was like that myself but grew to like it.

I'm hoping Frieza's next form will be much bigger and more intimidating like Coolers fifth form which did have a good design. In reality it'll probably be nothing like that, it'll only be a small change and I'll be disappointed at first but may grow to like it eventually.

The Shoko-Fish makes its triumphant return. I guess those cast listings weren't mistake after all, huh. Very surprised that her guest appearance wasn't a one off, guess they liked her enough to bring her back or maybe her name sells tickets. Lots and lots of tickets.

What role will the fish play this time I wonder.

EDIT: By the way, does Marron have an ear piercing?

Also, have to admit, Goku's looking pretty freakin' cool. Very nice design for this film.

While alarms bells are certainly starting to ring, I'd wait just a little bit longer. The character page still looks incomplete. Also, remember that Kaioshin was in Battle of Gods, yet he did not appear on the movie's character page either.

Why in God heavens name did Toriyama choose Muten Roshi to fight against Frieza's army, rather than Yamcha. Looks like he's not even in the movie, damn it.

Goku looks fucking badass with that new outfit.. Vegeta's outfit is awesome too, I just wish he didn't look so lean. Looks terrible.

Goku's shoes remind me of Dragon Ball GT. Not that he would wear such shoes in it.
