Well, we've already seen pale skin in the opening.JulieYBM wrote:I don't like it. I was hoping they'd push the gyaru look more...ArchedThunder wrote:Super Saiyan always lightens the skin color.JulieYBM wrote:Ah, I just realized: Kale's skin is lightly colored...
Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!Jinzoningen MULE wrote: Maybe I should start making it a point not to comment when I'm not sure of something. Too many people know what they're talking about around here.
I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

An update on Ishitani. She isn't gonna be working on the aforementioned series. So I guess that was a one time thing, moreover she was uncredited. She confirmed on Twitter that she is gonna continue to work on Super. I am really glad about that.dhaval_dongre wrote:Ishitani said that she supervised this, though it was uncredited, https://t.co/DZP3Dif1sU?amp=1
The animation team involves Tate, Hayashi and Tsutomo Ono and some other animators. Its based on some children's book. I don't know anything else about it. I probably think that its just a short special. I think the animators she talked about were only for that one video.
Hope that we will see her in a bigger role.
Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 90
It is sad that she said the director will be someone else. Well, more of her in Super

It was done last year. Ishitani confirmed it herself. So nothing to worry about.ArchedThunder wrote:Every time I see Tate on something other than his own Super episodes I get worried. If it was just that little short I wouldn't worry too much, but that on top of his minute long bit of animation in episode 91 certainly makes me a bit worried for his next episode.

Cool, hopefully she's able to direct in Super soon.dhaval_dongre wrote:

Wonder why they sat on it for so long then.dhaval_dongre wrote: It was done last year. Ishitani confirmed it herself. So nothing to worry about.

Ishitani said that it was a promo/pilot. Ya, but they really did sat on it for a long time. Must have been difficult for Toei to get the production in place, considering the amount of shows they have to handle. But I definitely feel that Super coming out of nowhere in 2015, must have definitely affected the schedules for other series.ArchedThunder wrote:Cool, hopefully she's able to direct in Super soon.dhaval_dongre wrote:

I'm with DragonBallKaiHD on this one. We can't confim Karasawa is back on the show in any capacity until either the Newtype information is released, or we actually see the episode.

The way they edit the lines is still in the show.Yomi wrote:Sometimes it feels like the filter isn't there at all. It felt that way with Tate's Brianne transformationPsykomatik wrote:Is Manabe doing key animation on 93? Some shots looks like him: http://imgur.com/a/PYSpI

The filter is only applied in the Kaioshin or arena worlds

Animate Times' preview for 93 that went up a little bit ago only lists Ono and Kitano as the supervisors. If Manabe is on the episode he's probably just doing some animation or corrections then.
Color filtering is applied on a scene by scene basis based on where the scene takes place. Different locations have different color filters.Mazingerdestro wrote: The way they edit the lines is still in the show.

Wow, I never noticed that. GT Goku is tan too, and he gets a lighter skin tone when he transforms.ArchedThunder wrote:Super Saiyan always lightens the skin color.

Oh, I totally didn't realise/remember (?) that Ono was on this episode. I retract my Manabe guess, then.ArchedThunder wrote:Animate Times' preview for 93 that went up a little bit ago only lists Ono and Kitano as the supervisors. Just watched the latest episode of My Hero Academia and it looked so damn good that it made me wish DBS had sakuga like that. Good lord that was mind-blowing.
If Super were a seasonal show do you guys think that we'd get animation equivalent to that of My Hero Academia?

At this point? Probably, although one still has to factor in whether or not someone wants to work on the series or under Yamamuro Tadayoshi.Super Saiyan Swagger wrote:Just watched the latest episode of My Hero Academia and it looked so damn good that it made me wish DBS had sakuga like that.
