Hey, that was the joke. People were begging that the BoG arc go faster so that we can get to new content. But now people are complaining that the F arc is going too fast, despite it also not being new content.

I'm really enjoying Super right now, a lot like how I used to to enjoy DBZ, I enjoy hearing and learning new things about the characters again (Before I spoiled myself on DBZ Fansites ), and there interactions with each other, seeing what the next episode will be about and look like (Like I used too, but now I have to wait a week unlike a day when I used to watch on toonami). I also enjoy watching Goku and Vegeta chase someone in power who they now know is a lot stronger then them (Like the Z fighters felt they alway used to have to), unlike say them thinking they can handle anything, and are already the strongest, and something has to be created, or transform on the spot to stand a chance. Yep it's almost nostalgia without being nostolgia. I Also enjoy looking out for what's around the corner, minus the 'F' saga, but after that, can't wait to see what our hero's run into in the future for the first time in a long time.

It's my understanding that part of the reason One Piece does it is to provide newer footage of previous events to use whenever flashbacks need to happen, so it's not as jarring against the current footage, right? In that regard, that could be pretty useful. And it's probably a lot more likely than my pipe dream of us getting yearly specials that are character history focused.

Because the furigana for his name is ごくう (gokuu), rather than something approximating Wukong like ウーコン (uukon). If not for the existence of Gohan and Goten, some translations probably would call him Wukong or Monkey just to reference the original source.

But in Chaozu's case, the typical Japanese reading for those kanji is ぎょうざ (gyouza), which became an in-universe joke when the Budoukai announcer mistakenly called him "Gyouza."

Part of the reason these specials happen is to help with flashbacks, I'm sure, but they do serve as promotional vehicles on thei own.

And sure enough, this 2chan thread has a more authentic-looking image listing the titles/airdates/staff for episodes 19-22. The first three are as we've seen already (and ep.19's title has already been confirmed from ep.18's NEP)...but for ep.22 it's simply サブタイトル未定, "title undecided", with absolutely nothing else written there about Tagoma or Ginyu or anything. However, later on in the thread someone started making those claims about Tagoma switching bodies with Ginyu and whatnot, vaguely saying it was written in some magazine, but this person was called out for not being able to cite their sources.

So, unless some more evidence comes along, I think we can forget about this Tagoma/Ginyu stuff.

I guess I might as well give my own translations for these now:

If it doesn't affect Super quality I dont mind, but its One Piece so Toei won't be lazy...

One Piece doesn't necessarily get quality. Episode of Sabo is disjointed and even with one or two good animators the fights leave much to be desired.

I am curious about how much if they're gonna stretch out the reF arc. I feel like I recall the end of the first 20 minute mark being shortly after Freeza gets wished back.

I just want the hand-holding teleport to remain intact. That's my only realistic wish for this arc.

My only wants is that the 1000 army fight is 2 episodes long (Piccolo vs Shisami and Gohan vs Freeza need to be extended) and Goku/Vegeta vs Freeza is the same length as Goku vs Beerus.
