Good job on the editing, guys. I gotta say, I love that artwork, but the bottom left corner of that image is a huge waste. Toei should have made Gohan take up more of that section, or better yet, have drawn Kuririn or somebody in there too.

Here's hoping FUNi dumps the brick design and uses that for a DVD cover if/when they license this.

She's fine in Dragon Ball, but she overacts in Z, IMHO.

Bulma's not a teenager at that point anymore, the loud and obnoxious tone Volmer uses should've been toned down a bit.

Well... to be fair... Bulma's in her 20s at the 22nd and 23rd Tenkaichi Budokais, too... the last appearance of teenage Bulma... is at Uranai Baba's tournament...

Like she does at the end of Z and all through GT. She's obnoxious all the way from Namek through the Android saga.

Nozawa was pretty awful in Dragon Ball Z Sparking! Meteor as well. I'm not sure what went on with this game.
(and Wakamoto's Cell was terrible, no matter the form... damn it, Wakamoto! you're better than that!)

Well, at the beginning of her role in Z yes she does over do it. But to be fair, a good deal of Bulma's scenes from when she first took over are filler of Bulma screaming and yelling. It's not her fault she came in at a bad time for showing off the character's other qualities. IMO by the time Vegeta & Trunks comes out of the RoSaT, Volmer's much better.

Actually on the topic (somewhat) I can't be the only dork peeved by the newer animation constantly trying to make Vegeta's hair brown or give him brown highlights. Saiyans have black hair darn it stop trying to fix what aint broke.

I personally like the purple highlights, as they still give off a "black" vibe.

You're not alone, I mentioned it before in this topic. It really is annoying in my mind since not only does he have black hair. But he outright states that Saiya-jin have black hair and even Toriyama made a point of it when redesigning Bardock's crew.

What do you guys think about DB Kai changing Raditz's hair into navy blue? I know I'm being nitpicky but I don't like it.

Is that actaully a change they made? If it was just a color palette anomaly that was present in the original as well, than I have no problem with it... but that would make me wish they fixed it for this re-airing. If they did intentionally change the hair to the blue-ish color we see in the trailer, than I think it is them taking an unnecessary liberty.

Hasn't the series generally used blue for highlights on Sayiajin hair on artwork?

That's the same image that was in the last issue of Weekly Jump, but it is nice seeing it in full color.
Is that the only other place it was used? And do you know exactly which issue of WJ that was? Thanks!

I think it's a result of the added brightness. It's probably just in certain scenes where his hair was already a bit lighter than normal.

Have we gotten confirmation that it will in fact be the entire series?...But it's probably just because the Saiya-jin and Freeza Saga's intertwine with each other.
Maybe TOEI is doing this in "seasons" and for now it only goes up to the end of Frieza. They'll release another "season" of KAI later?
