FINALLY got all seven Dragon Balls! ...Now I just dunno what to wish for. I'm thinking an additional character, but I don't know if that'd be a wasted wish if you can unlock them through normal means...can you?

So far only Frieza was tough for me, I won him after 5-7 tries. Everything else it's ok, I don't even need grinding.

It looks like wishing for them is the only option. I haven't heard of any other way.

That's what I figured, and what my research into it seems to bring up, so that's a relief. Used the wish on that and got SS4 Gogeta, woot.

I'm only level 19 and on the Freeza saga, but I'm trying to beat every parallel quest in sequence as it pops up (and to grind) which I guess is making things start to feel a bit like my experience on Battle of Z all over again.

I decided to make my avatar a Namek, as well, I've always loved Nameks, and I guessed that the majority of folk would go Saiyan. I will too, eventually, once I get a unlock an additional slot.

So far my biggest surprise is how you get to fight Miira so soon in the game and how easy it is (for a boss fight at least). I have to admit that the whole Towa is little sister of Dabura and the Demon Realm aspect was a really nice twist, as it was certainly something which I felt wasn't explored as much as it could have been by Toriyama, other than being a mysterious place from which to pull a strong character, Dabura, out of nowhere.

Log into the Playstation Store. In the menu look for the option to redeem the code. Then just type it in and download what it gives you and you SHOULD be set. That's how it's worked for all the other PS3 games I've had codes for.

Alternatively, you can access the Store from your PC or even your phone. You can also input the code from Account Management on your PS3.

The only problems I've had so far were Oozaru Vegeta (took two tries because I was being reckless), Frieza (two tries, got hit with Death Ball), and the Cell Games PQ (NEVER try that mission with one person).

Working on my second set of Dragon Balls . I used the first set to redistribute the Attribute Points more favorably. Next set will probably be for a new character. Grinding PQ15 for Dragon Balls works really well. You level up much quicker and Time Patrollers show up more often. Thanks for the tip, SSJ God Gogeta !

Finally in the Battle of Gods stuff in the game. This is what I've been waiting for, woo-hoo!

Maybe it's because I've been doing PQs in between the main missions but does anyone else think the game's pretty easy? For me the game seems to spike in difficulty in various different places. Some fights are easier than I would have expected (like Oozaru Vegeta), others though are insanely hard.

So I Steam-side I've gotten kicked out for server reasons a few times, but the last couple start ups I get a "the server is down, here is what you cannot do right now" message and get sent to single-player, which is fine by me because I got the game yesterday. Can the consoles play by going offline?

Will need to go back and copy that Dragon Ball grinding method.

Yeah, without any problems. It skips the lobby choosing and sends you right in.

Dragon Ball hunting...it's all chance. Was playing with a bud. Early on I was picking up Dragon Balls no problem...before the drought. Suddenly nothing was coming. We raced to see if I could get 1 Dragon Ball before he could get 2. He got 2, wished for Shocking Death Ball, then got 2 more before I got 1. It was a horrible time, albeit funny. I really hate the RNG.

I started to notice this too as I was trying to grind the one mission mentioned earlier for Dragon Balls. One time I beat the Time Patroller and didn't get squat, and then a bunch of times after that he wouldn't even show up, even though I was beating Freeza in well under a minute.

Well I've had the time patroller show up a bunch of times, but he or she just would not drop one. I got 5 dragon balls in an hour once...but this time it took like 30 to 45 minutes at the lowest to get 1. I did just before 4am, and wished for SSJ4 Gogeta.

That would be a waste as you said because you can unlock with normal means.

Okay, there has seriously got to be an easier way to ensure that the freaking Time Patrollers will show up. It was almost easier to get Dragon Balls in Budokai 1, and that's...that's bad.

Yeah, I somehow got three in the first hour of playing the game just by doing one of the first parallel quests. After that it was difficult. I did what one of the users here suggested and farmed that Freeza Parallel Quest but all I got were Satan coins for hours. Finally got my set though and wished for the Monkey King clothes. I'm not looking forward to collecting them again.

That would be a waste as you said because you can unlock with normal means.

What are those normal means? Unless you mean I said there were, in which case you misunderstood - I was questioning if we could.

So I'm fighting Beerus and Whis now...I can tell this is gonna take a while.

...Or not. Third try, but man was it one hell of a fight.
