They have it pretty easy at the moment where not only is Super introducing more plot points but people would happily see more elements from online and heroes make its way into the Xenoverse world.
Another major thing that's good for them is the basics of the game already being set so all they have to do is build on it which is a lot easier than building a new game from scratch.
I think there's been 2-3 "arcs" in heroes so those will surely make their way in as they're popular AND from the same developer.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

I mean, unless they go out of their way to create ANOTHER set of new characters that get shafted 3/4 of the way into their first game, only to get the proper spotlight in the sequel, that's the best option to go with for another sequel, especially if they're setting up the story of 3 with this next DLC.

He thought I was misrepresenting his work by saying he wasn't in something he was in.
I explained how that wasn't the situation & did a bit of a sarcastic kinda thing involving the rerecordings FUNi did for the Z dub to show how stupid that was.
He said they didn't record him & not use his recordings.

Um... I'm sorry, but there is absolutely no logic here. If Demigra's game was XV1, and that for some reason means he shouldn't return (even though Towa and Mira were in both 1 and 2), then Towa and Mira shouldn't return at all since XV2 was their game, regardless of how "awesome" they are (which doesn't have anything to do with this).
Sorry if I seem hostile at all, that's not how I mean for this to come across.
Is there someone in this world who really would not like/want to see Fu together with Mira and Towa (and Dabura)? Obviously Mira and Towa should return, even if it is a flashback or whatever. Fu is the new black and everything related to him must appear to help contributing with his character.

No-one is disputing that. It was that your logic of inclusion is a little flawed. It makes little to no sense to not include the main enemy from XV1 on the basis that he wad the main enemy, let allow for the main enemy/enemies from XV2 another spotlight.
"I'm not a bad guy, I am a good guy, who just... hits women with his car."
There is nothing wrong in wanting more of Mira and Towa but not Demigra. Although Demigra was born in the Xenoverse series, the games should be more about Mira, Towa and now Fu.

Should? No, there's no reason the games should be about those character in particular. Hell, including Mira and Towa could potentially damage Fuu as a character by making him rely to heavily on his connection to them instead of standing on his own. And he wasn't saying it was wrong to want more Mira and Towa, he was saying your logic made no sense.
This isn't a Frieza situation where the character has been dragged back from the depths of hell ten times by now.

Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

Started playing 2 yesterday & oh my god is it better than the first game right off the bat. All except the storytelling, since a lot of it's rehashed from Xenoverse 1, but different in SOME ways, but not enough. The main combat is more energized & frantic so I'm not spending the entire time just endlessly charging to shoot off ultimates, though I DID have to default to that playstyle for facing Frieza & Cooler, whom I beat without heavy grinding, but a few healing items. The fighting feels more action RPG to me & more Dragon Ball than the first game did. Plus having all of the best skills for me from the first game at the beginning definitely helps. I'd only want Super Saiyan & maybe the Dancing Parapara & I'd be set. Plus training under the characters is better, since they don't have to be your mentor to do that with them.

I said this on another thread on this forum, but anyone else feel like the Xenoverse duology is, semi, a proof of concept for what Sagas attempted to do, just mixed with elements from the Tenkaichi series & MMOs?

Like, minus the adventure aspects, since the game's less an adventure game & is an RPG with action elements, Xenoverse has a lot of elements that Sagas tried to incorporate, but the game was unpolished, so they didn't reach their full potential.

I hope the next DLC story will last more than a couple hours. I'll be damned if all of this customization was for a short campaign. Still, can't wait for Fu!

I remember reading an article as the game was in development that Sagas was originally going to developed as an RPG. We did not get that, unfortunately, but I can see similarities.

Well, it has light RPG elements. The health & ki capsules you pick up & the fact that you purchase moves as you go are definitely what I see being retained from the RPG that was planned. The action elements also make it seem like it was in the style of Kingdom Hearts, since you have a linear path, battle enemies, then take on bosses.
