Do you have that interview?
Well I'm back now and I went on herms twitter it was there that I saw said interview that Shallot would have some sort of connection with the upcoming movie. I can't find the tweet.

Well now, this I would love to see considering I've read every interview pertaining to the new film and seen nothing to suggest that Kanba and Shallot are in any way connected to Dragon Ball Super: Broly
I believe this got talked about in the Legends game interviews that there is going to be a link to it, but it seems like its just the movie content being put into the game later
Yeah it was exactly that, and I trust that Kanba or Cumber will have also some connection link to the movie too both characters are seemingly ancient Saiyans after all.

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.
Noah wrote:Oh I see, so we do have a trio of ancient Saiyans: Cumber, Shallot and Broly (Super)
For Broly I don't think so, I think his power will have origin explanation and a world building around it with Shallot and Kanba/Cumber ?
I hoped this movie would cover ancient saiyans but nothing suggests anymore. This movie only seems to be going as far back as the time of the saiyans on Planet Vegeta and there has been nothing revealed thats hints at or gives a reason to give us a flashback to the time of Planet Sadala or Yamoshi.
The chances of Cumber and Shallot appearing are even lower. Nothing has hinted at a connection between SDBH and the DBS movie and the only connection that we know of between DBL and the DBS movie is that content from the DBS Movie will make its way into DBL which was obvious.
The only hope i have left is that the original tagline/theme of the movie before it was “what lies beyond true strength” it was “the origins of the saiyans’ power”. And technically Yamoshi is a key character when it comes to the origins of god ki for saiyans. Also S-Cells are a direct answer to that tagline and they were introduced in the same interview as Yamoshi.
I called it that Gogeta, Bardock, and something Broly related would be in the movie before it was even announced that it was a Broly movie.
"I don't think I'm a hero of justice or anythin'. But those who'd hurt my friends... I won't forgive!"
I'm so glad that Bardock/Time Breaker Bardock always appears in a TOP10, as this always gives me more incredible arts! Can't wait to get a nice Dark Masked King card too.
My guess for the other 2 SECs(or potential 3 because Goku might just be a SEC for the reprint cards only and not effect the full set) Cumber ssj4(?), Goku Xeno SSJ4 with the new space time sword slash CAA with Vegeta xeno ssj4 being the one who is summoned, Oolong SP card(just because why not lol),I also believe Omega Shenron: xeno is possible too .

THAT would be amazing.
We could see that form after the golden oozaru battle, who knows.

A God of Destruction to be a SEC? A waste of spot if you ask me.
Rinsankajugin wrote:Huh, does it say what the new form Hatchiyack is called? Also, why is SSB Goku looking pretty dark and sparkly?
I don't think so. We are going to have to wait to see the back of the card.
Rinsankajugin wrote:EDIT, I just did some digging around, and I noticed that the icon for that SSB Goku card looks very different from previous SSB or Blue Kaioken icons:

The shading almost makes it look like Ultra Instinct, but the card art shows that it isn't UI Goku. Hmm...
Goku kind of looks different, probably it's just Kaio-Ken x20. We are going to have to wait to see the back of his card too.

So this game also has characters with status like HE, EX and SP? Though that only for Dokkan and now Legends.
SP is for "special". There's Hero, Elite, and Berserker but it doesn't refer to rarity, and "Special" is relatively new and mainly used for characters who don't fight like Bulma, Mai, Zen'o, etc.

Oh thanks, mate. I thought it would be the same system for every card game related
