Can somebody ask Kendamu how were the combos like and what kind of button combinations where there, since he said that there were more combos.

Kendamu dropped another tweet. Apparently, all updates through the year will be free.

That's not the same as what he said. He tweeted that there "will be free updates to the gameplay for over a year after release", not that all updates would be free. I imagine we'll have a similar model as to what we had with XV, some free updates for balance and the like, as well as paid DLC at whatever intervals.

If this sells as well as the previous game they will pretty much have to. I still have my gripes with the seemingly movie character focused plot of this game but hopefully it wont hamper the final product too much.

Ignoring the battle powers involved, could you just imagine Slug appearing during Piccolo Daimao's rampage to battle over who gets Earth instead? Following on the logic of Coola assisting Freeza to, I purely assume, protect their clan's name, that would be one the more fun movie integrations they could do.

What I'm more curious about is whether his Giant Form will be a transformation (thus possibly granting Namekians their "Great Namek" form) or if Giant Slug is just an alternate boss.

The producer is on team Vegeta.

They're going to tell us how to send them feedback and they're really going to listen to what we want and don't want.

The reason they're going to support the game for so long is because they want us to play it for a long time which might mean we'll have to wait longer for the 3rd one.

The story won't be as strong for people who've played the 1st one. I think they're going to go through what was covered in the 1st and combine it with the new content.

They weren't planning on a sequel during the 1st one's development.

The fan favorite item drop will be changed from the 1st one based on the feedback they've received.

Yeah that story news is not something good to hear. I rather wait for a game with a more fleshed out story than just getting a XV 1.5. Maybe because it is dimps they are going the street fighter route with adding more to the story mode through the form of updates. But if they are really going to listen it will be interesting to see how things come out in the end.

And theres my biggest issue. This is shaping to be Xenoverse 1 all over again but with movie characters. I'm probably in the minority here but I didnt want the movie characters included at all. Id have much rather they continued down the DBO stuff with Towa and Mira and the stuff DB Heroes has expanded upon with Dark Towa, Super Mira, Xeno Dabra, the stuff in the demon realm with hell gates, Time Breaker Bardock and the other TB characters. Simply retreading Raditz to Beerus (probably Golden Freeza this time) and just adding some movie villains seems really...lazy.

Ill still get this of course for the possible hope for more original content but the movie characters just dont interest me at all.

The game's contents were decided before Super even aired and with how much was covered in the 1st one they were kind of stuck so this might've been the only option to get a long story.

I think we all knew the Story Mode would be kinda the first one but expanded due to inclusion of the movies characters, at least that's what I always thought, so I expected something like that. Unless they try to incorporate Dragon Ball Online's essence, which is correct what is happening right now, not preventing what could possibly happen.

I want them and everyone who was missing from Z but I'd also love to get what you wrote in the 2nd paragraph and some what if characters and forms.

Golden Freeza will definitely be part of the story.

So, Oozaru size? Wouldn't that form be too difficult to fight in?

Well that's a drag. Let's just hope for some of the characters from DB Heroes will show up and the new content will be something, after all, it might have more than the famous villains and moments from the original DB. I wonder what will happen in that timeline.

Yeah, Toriyama said he didn't want them in the game and one of the producers who tried to argue with him about it disappeared the next day so they just agreed to it.
