Whiat is the beam struggle? Goku vs. Vegeta or Goku vs. Super Baby Vegeta 2?

None of them really fit...my best bet would be Super Oozaru Bebi Vegeta's Gyarik Cannon vs. Goku's inital 10x Kamehameha, but even that isn't right.

Wait a minute, what exactly is this upcoming update?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I wonder if DB Heroes has the balls to create a SSj5? It would be neat to see what official design that they can come up that is not over used like the silver hair SSj5 that has been over used in nearly every fan fiction since 2000.

I don't want Super Saiyan 5.

Based on the 2nd chapter of the Victory Mission manga and what has been recenly shown on the official website, the GM5 set will feature Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, Super Saiyan 3 Trunks, Pan, Baby Vegeta, Super Baby Vegeta, Super Baby Vegeta 2, and a card to summon Luud.

I have to agree. Whether they have the balls or not, I don't want to see it.

Anyway, with V-Jump's Heroes info/strategy booklet having been revealed, GM5 is still likely to continue the focus from last set. We haven't had a whole lot of Tullece yet, so it's no surprise that Movie 3 is rolling over into GM5. And, as for GT, we'll probably get everything right before Bebi's Oozaru transformation; as we've had artwork reveals for SS4 Goku, "Super Bebi Vegeta 1" and "Super Bebi Vegeta 2"...though I guess his monkey version could still be a boss or a secret card for the content below.

I'm not sure the set will focus on SS3 characters, but most of them are being used for the "Time-Space Transferal" boss summoning cards:
SS3 Goku w/ Freeza's Spaceship
SS3 Trunks (GT) w/ Super Llod
SS3 Vegeta w/ Oozaru Vegeta
Tullece w/ Oozaru
Pan w/ Super Oozaru
Kid Gohan w/ Giant Slug
SS Gogeta w/ Bebi Janenba
Tapion w/ Super Hildegarn

Why would you want that and why would they do that?

Because they don't have to keep the visuals of a previous generation game? (Soon to be pre-previous gen)
As for the why I would want that? Because it would look very pretty :P

This is totally just me tossing some wishful thinking of my own, not really something that I see happening at all.

I don't see it happening either, but I wouldn't mind it if it did. Burst Limit didn't have my favorite graphics, but I did like them better than the Budokai series and they do have their own sort of flare. Even though the models were extremely similar between 'em, the way they were shaded made the flaws that rolled over from the Budokai versions less noticeable.

Do you reckon that they'll just milk Tullece and Baby for this new set? That would be a bit boring... :\ Maybe will get a cool secret card.

I'm guessing they're gonna milk the Saiyan genes out of Tullece and go with Baby until his Golden Oozaru form.

New 15 second commercial is out, features brief animation of SS4 Goku...which is great to see again: http://www.carddas.com/dbh/movie/#line69 Also revealed 4 new cards with nothing we weren't already expecting (currently known lists are below). We also know we'll be seeing "Super Bebi Vegeta" too, and maybe Super Oozaru Bebi Vegeta as a boss... The good news is we may actually get an exciting Secret card this set, most characters from the arc and movie already have cards revealed and we never get a Secret card of a normally availible character. Who it is, that's another subject entirely. I'm still placing my bets on SS Tullece, SS3 Vegeta (GT), SS Pan or SS3 Goten (GT)...though now that we have Bebi Janenba, I wouldn't rule any random idea out. =P A lot of the Japanese fan are expecting something related to Super 17, SS4 Gohan or SS4 Broli from what I can tell, though I wouldn't really be excited by any of those.

Regular Cards
Super Uub
SS4 Goku (transformation card)
"Super Bebi Vegeta 2"

Dimensional Transfer Cards
SS3 Gogeta w/ SS3 Broli
SS3 Goku w/ Freeza's Spaceship
SS3 Trunks (GT) w/ Super Llod
SS3 Vegeta w/ Oozaru Vegeta
Tullece w/ Oozaru
Pan w/ Super Oozaru
Kid Gohan w/ Giant Slug
SS Gogeta w/ Bebi Janenba
Tapion w/ Super Hildegarn

Man, I can't wait for the full version of the commercial. I hope we get to see some Super Saiyan 4 Gokuu versus Baby action!

Here's the stuff that was streaming... really crappy quality though, so not much to get out of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6cyFpUUFz4

Does confirm that Super Oozaru Bebi Vegeta is in the game, and the commercial consist of Goku and Beet fighting Bebi Vegeta, Bebi's infected Saiyans helping out, Bebi going ape and trying to squash Beet, and then Goku going SS4 and starting to kick ass.

With Heroes heavily advertizing, I wonder if Toei might be thinking about making a new series beased on it?

Oh, and while the animation is cut throughout the video and seems to be out of sequence, I found what I believe to be the entire Vegetto commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIRAxiLDUEA
