This is the video they showed at TGS, but it's pretty much the same video of the 9:00+ one we watched a while ago, but not completely the same. Check it out for yourself.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGZGcuFuSlI

Significant differences include:

-Banners for every saga is showned prior to showing the saga
-Vegeta fighting Imperfect Cell
-Goku in Father and Son Kamehameha is now in base form instead of Super Saiyan
-A much better camera angle of Goku and Boo pushing the Genki-dama at each other
-The full fusion dance of SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta

And there seem to be new footage playing on the screens on both side. It's a shame that the cameraman didn't tape the three screens at once.

*Ahem*

I kinda hope there will be one last secret character to finish the 130 set.

...

Not Bulma, though.

...

Who should be in this game?

...

Wait for it...

Piccolo Freakin' Daimao!

Yes. I agree.

The year they put Bulma into a fighting game is the year I go on a horrific bloody rampage across six states.

Difference is though, Videl actually had a fighting part, Bulma only ever punched friends and Kame-sennin. >.>;;

Just a thought...

Have we seen a video with cell transforming yet? I'm curious to know if we will see him absorbing #17 and #18 when he does.

I don't know if anybody has noticed this one but it looks like every site has the North American release has been pushed back until November 7th. I was really hoping to have this by the end of October like the first game last year.

Personally I think that the TB 2 cover art is the best american cover art we have ever gotten for a dragonball z game.

It's alright I guess but I still really like the cover for the first 2 Budokai games and of course the Japanese art we got for the Greatest Hits release of Budokai 3. I'd say this one comes in 4th after those ones.

There's a new video from GameKult.com. It showed some pretty neat stuff.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2TZrZpyM44#

Does anyone know what in the world is Goku shooting Vegeta with at about 00:23? It looks like a small blue ki-blast.

This is what I like, more and more minor detail being released to the public's eyes. And Trunks's ultimate move is just awesome, although it would be better if Trunks's hair's short while wearing the Saiyan armor! :x

Nice! And I agree, Trunks' ultimate is "the pwnz0rz". :D

Was that second battle (Trunks vs Gohan) played with no-one at the second controller? :?

Looks like a non-charged/weak Kamehameha.
kvon wrote:... , although it would be better if Trunks's hair's short while wearing the Saiyan armor! :x
Totally.

Actually, now that I think about it, has that ever been seen in a video game before? :?

EDIT: Just found this at Amazon UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Atari-Dragonbal ... videogames

(What a URL! That took forever!)

Europe's Budokai 2 cover art...

Trunks has the short hair and armor outfit as an alternate in Super DBZ. It looks fricken amazing. I always keep him in that outfit.

Seriously, Best. Trunks. Outfit. Ever.

I think way back in DBZ: Legends for PS1 and Saturn had Trunks with short hair and armor. He had that same attack too.

Wow. The character models have improved since the demo. They look a lot more like the show now, especially in that first battle.

I find it amusing how Vegeta flies along a blue grid after being hit back by Goku. :D

That actually has its advantage. I remeber back in the original Sparking!, the barrier's always the obstacle to completing several smash-backs. But now that the grid doesn't stop the opponent from falling back, linking combos' much more easier and more fun. :) I'm currently whining about how there should be more elevation depth so that the characters who got knocked back upwards diagnally wouldn't start mysteriously flying in a straight line once reaching the invisible "sky grid". :x

You bet! Beside the improved look of SSJ2 Goku, the lightning effect is just getting sweeter and sweeter. Now, if only they spend the same effort with Kaio-ken aura effect. :?

I don't remember hearing about 1st person fighting. Did I just miss that in this topic somewhere? Or is it not completely 1st person, and you can only use it to look around or aim shots, but not actually move around?
