Ya' know, normally I don't have any problems with you here, Steven; but you suggesting that really gets under my skin. Kino's done a lot for this project, even helped Kaboom out with choosing the cast, and to think of "dropping" her from this project...I'm glad Kaboom flat-out denied you.

I've contacted Kino through her LJ. She asked me to tell everyone how she's doing.

Ahh, yeah, I've heard they've been wondering about where I've been. Especially since they're still waiting on me for the fandub script... D: I haven't wanted to get back onto the forums until I've completely finished that thing so I don't come back saying, "I'm sorry, it's quite not done yet, but almost," or anything like that. That's the last thing I want to find myself saying.

I'd be grateful if you'd do that for me. I have been a bit swamped with things lately that I've had to work on (most notably stuff for my summer classes, and now a driving class too). Honestly, the classwork hasn't been taking up all of my time, but I don't think I have any viable excuse for staying away for as long as I have besides that... I'm pretty sure general distraction is no excuse. Unfortunately I haven't given myself time lately to get the last parts of it finished... @_@; So yeah, it's pretty much my fault. (I'm sure they'll appreciate knowing that. =_=; )

I know Kaboom's probably one of the (if not the) most worried; I want to contact him and let him know what's up, but I think I should have done that a long time ago already. It might just be best to finish the last parts before I contact him again... or so I keep telling myself. >_<;

So, uhm... if you don't mind, just say I've been kinda busy... and that they can go ahead to form a mob to lynch me once I show my face there again. Should be soon. Realistically, I couldn't blame them if they did... I owe everybody an apology at this point. It shouldn't have taken me this long. Not when I said I could get it done in a fraction of the time.

Actually... Sunday. Tell them I'll be back on by Sunday. I'd say today, but I have to factor in driver's ed and any other crap that might happen afterwards (my parents don't see anything I do that's not class- or chore-related as very important so they could decide to drag me along to do anything after class is over). I will have the script ready by then, no matter what. And let Kaboom know that I'll be giving him a personal apology and whatever else he might want for taking so freaking long. It's the least I can do.

Thanks... and sorry for putting you to the inconvenience. If they get upset, just tell them to direct that upset at me when I get back on. I don't want you getting flack for delivering my message. *head/desk*

Where have you been?! I've been worried sick about you! The sleepless nights have really been getting to me...

I'm glad you're back.

The project was getting kinda boring without you... but at least the tension between me and Conan kept things interesting...

(Conan, I wasn't being serious when I said we'll have to drop Kino from the project- I was just trying to get her to respond!) Sorry if I've been an ass lately- no more silly attitudes from me. I'll be normal from now on.

Oh yeah, Conan, would you be willing to remake your trailer in high-definition? You can download the footage from Acid (I haven't heard from him on how to access the server yet...), or maybe I can send you the footage I ripped from my DVD (non-Dragonbox) in some sort of compressed RAR format...

I dunno, with Kino coming back pretty soon and with me being on dial-up, I'm not sure if I'll have the time to do it with the upcoming voice work we'll all need to do. Especially considering I'm still looking out if I can make a certain trip to the West coast some time next coming week. Plus, with my limited resources (Movie Maker, etc.), I doubt I could save a final form in an HD format...unless you'd want it at over a GB or something. However, if anyone here would like to piece-by-piece remake the trailer with Dragonbox footage exactly as I did with the audio of mine, you'd have my full support.

Yeah, I really don't think we have time to make another full-length trailer, even if it'd just be putting new footage to Conan's. Once we get the script, we're gonna be getting to recording, so most of us are gonna be busy.

So by the way, have all our video editors managed to get the footage downloaded?

Hey, guys! I'm back with a new trailer...

I actually tried quite hard on it... with the hope that Conan would like it. I got the footage from my DVD (no Cartoon Network logo on it), so the quality is higher- but not as good as it originally was. The trailer's also got subtitles- but they're pretty small.

I'd appreciate feedback (good and bad- please don't feel guilty for giving it low stars).

A lot of people are saying to wait for SP2 so Microsoft can fix up all the bugs and security flaws and stuff on it. It has a few tempermental issues and annoyances (like EVERYTIME I open up Winamp it keeps prompting me if I want to allow LastFM to use it, and I had to remove a file from the registry because my DVD rom disappeared on me), but it seems to be okay. It's running The Sims 2 a lot smoother than my Desktop, but it hates running the PSX emulator I have. Just make sure you have about a gig or more of ram so it can run it really good. The lady at Best Buy told me it could probably run on a 512 mb ram but probably not as well as would a 1 gig ram. Probably talk with whatever computer store you're buying it from and see what they say. I'm using the laptop as a school computer as well for when I go back Fall Quarter.

I'm planning on getting the laptop sometime next month before school. I would just be using it for reports and taking notes; though I'll probably be placing psp on it as well.

Next time I get up to one of the stores I'll try one of the test models they have on the floor.

Ya know, somehow I knew Kino was on stake-out after all the commotion about "the final script." Haha. Glad she's stepped forward though.

Perry: sorry bro, I was going to send you another PM but I got caught up in (believe it or not) various other video projects. Namely, a web short I worked on/appear in, a feature film I'm an extra for, and a YouTube contest I plan on entering. Ai yai yai...

At any rate, I can still troubleshoot the IP issues with you. Do you have a Linksys router? If so, I'll go ahead and send you the work-around. Even if you don't it might have the same options. If you don't and it doesn't, then, well... I dunno, lol. But I'll think about that when I have to.

And for anyone else who is currently without video, server's still up. So go ahead and get your footage while it's still hot.

Well, folks, I just heard from Kino. I don't want to reveal too much in case she didn't want me to, but let's just say she's having problems with the script's finishing touches due to some "outside interference."

As it is, she may have to hand what she has so far for a combined script over to me or someone else to finish because of it. If she or I do it, it won't get done until later next week, thanks to her problem and my busily preparing for and going to Otakon.

So, is there anyone who's week isn't looking as hectic who would like to finish it? The sooner the better.

Oh, and Acid, I still haven't downloaded all 3 parts, and I don't think I can at this moment. I've got some HD space issues I can't resolve right now, so the least I can download is that last part (which I think I may have already, the one starting with Goku going Kaioken)
