Pretty sure she didn't in the manga, but in the DBZ anime older ChiChi remembers herself fighting with Goku as their first 'date'.

Would've been amusing had Chi-Chi continued to wear a cape into adulthood. (ala Piccolo)
On hiatus.

The Z's would likely be unlocked characters (and stages) while the X is an unused spot.

EDIT
Just watched the Akkuman and Kid Chi-Chi video, looks great. Looks like Spike found a nice middle ground for the non-fliers. At least, it looked like Kid Chi-Chi had a slow sink to her float. That's sooooo much better than the "Flail and Fall™" of BT2. Now we should be able to at least get back over ground and keep in the air when we want. 8)

Bang on, someone said before 18 vs satan was a hard fight, well it wasnt if you used him appropriately. His rush blast2 + trap blast2 made it pretty easy once you adapted to his different play style.

Different play style? Oh, you mean spamming his rush attacks? Yeah, that's reeeeal fun.

Have we ever had that form of Goku available to us in any game? I mean, I know that he never actually fought in that mode, but we did at least SEE him in it . . .

Ngh. Guess it's destined to go forever ignored, like SSJ2 Gotenks.

Explicitly? No (though I'll forever argue that a certain scene in the anime is him powering up to that level, lightning or no).

But c'mawn. It's a reasonable extrapolation to make, given that friggin' 2 is between the numbers 1 and 3. This isn't like SSJ4 Vegeta, where he "cheated" and may or may not have skipped the third level in ascending (which is why I can't really complain about no SSJ3 Vegeta, badass as I think it would be); we know that there's a SSJ2 Gotenks because of damned nature.

The only problem would be assigning him a move list that isn't completely pulled out of one's ass . . . well, that, and the fact that he'd be a completely wasted character and take away slots from other characters and forms we have actually SEEN. But it's always bothered me for some reason that the SSJ2 Gotenks was never used all the same-- skipping from SSJ to SSJ3 is something I wanna do by choice, dammit.

Ngh. I'm done whining now, though; it's a good lineup on the whole, with lots of fanservice.

Does anyone have a non .png version of that image (ie, a file format with a lower file size)? 'Cause that takes WAY too long to download on my connection. :\

This walk-through will show how earthbound characters would not fly, but simply jump or rush into the air since they will eventually descend slowly to the ground.
Thanks for that, kvon.
Hm, it was kinda hard to tell in that video. I think the best example I saw was around 1:20, when Chichi is powering up, and you can clearly see her descending; the aura made it easier for me to see.
Anyway, I guess that'll be OK. It's certainly better than flailing and falling, for me at least.

We don't get a SSJ2 level for GT Kid Goku either, despite the fact he clearly went level 2 on at least a few brief occasions (one being where he deflects an attack of Hyper Metal Rilldo's). Although, he does always immediately revert back to SSJ. Regarding Gotenks, since lightning isn't a necessity in the anime, I see him as a SSJ2 in that format after the additional big-explosion "power-up" we see him do after going SSJ in the RoSaT. Where's the love for level 2, Spike!

Why is Seripa on the heroes side of that poster? I'd even argue and say that Bardock shouldn't be there either.

Oh for crying out loud not the "He was clearly Super Saiya-Jin 2 in that scene" arguement again I think you should just let it be.

Roshi and Gohan are kinda screwed, though. ZBut even then things are changed considerably.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention; Roshi could've used that flying turtle thing he had when he travelled to Mount Frying Pan, or whatever it's called. Although, that turtle thing kept spinning around as it was flying, so I'm not sure if that would work.

I know we wouldn't see an Ultra Super Saiyan mid-Goku....and to be honest I really wouldn't use one if they did. However, it would be pretty cool if they added a "full powered" super saiyan stage for mid-Goku. "Full Powered" may not be the term I'm looking for, but I'm referring to the stage Goku was at during the Cell Games, with no Aura surrounding him.

That, and we also need a caped Gohan for his middle stage.

Select Super Saiyan Goku in his Cell Games outfit, then don't depower for the whole match.

Ask Toei, since they couldn't even keep SSJ2 straight on the Goku vs Majin Vegeta fight. :P
