Meh, at first I was against the fact the Mira is an unplayable boss, but now that I see what he does while fighting him, I don't really care. He's basically like a Cell 2.0 or some shit. Hopefully he'll have some original moves.

Right now I'm stuck on the second round of Mira, but I won't be back playing the game until Saturday, cuz I got a shit ton of essays to write and tests to study. I think it'll take a month or two for me to finish the story, including the secrets.

Soon as I saw some of the Demigra fights, I had to stop cuz of spoilers. Does the space fight with Demigra happens during his own saga or another saga? I know he reveals himself during the Cell saga.

Ugh, so I blew a load of Zeni on buying Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2, despite knowing they're useless to my Namek, and having no real plan to make another avatar until I've maxed my Kakatsudori.

Just about to have a second shot at the Beerus/Whis fight alongside Trunks. My first attempt very last thing before I went to bed last night ended pretty quickly by being hit by two planet busting balls by Beerus in such quick succession I barely had time to even get up from the first.

I think that's my biggest problem with the battle mechanics, how the AI can overload you with such incredibly overpowered Ki attacks, that makes victory equally as much about luck as it does skill. It makes fighting Freeza, Beerus and Goku a real pain the arse, Kame-hame-spam is incredibly annoying.

That mission is intended to overwhelm you so that you are forced to train parallel quests,that's the intent so go do some of the highest level quests and train up/over power one of your fighting attributes.

Beerus' animations are so damn cute and charming. I forgot to do his grab in this match, but it's that one where he grabs SSjGod Goku from behind, spins him around and then kicks him through the air.

...I can't for the life of me even begin to understand why Trunks deciding he likes his job as a Time Patroller enough to keep it as a "career" matters enough to deny a game purchase? But to each their own.

In-so-far as I can tell, the only allies those All-Heals work on are people you bring with you in Parallel Quests, the ones you make the choice to bring or not. Characters that have to be there, though? They seem to be completely unaffected.

use whis' ultimate i did the quest first try with that ultimate.

be carefull to use it when a lot of frieza's henchmen are near you.

It's a drop from one of the parallel quests. When you're in the quest selection menu, go to the second page and it breaks down what the possible item drops are.

Well I doubt there'll be any Budokai Tenkaichi's anytime soon until BN or DIMP fix the damn servers.

In more positive news, I laughed out loud when I found out that PQ #32 was called "Super Saiyan Bargain Sale" and laughed even harder when I discovered that the character you have to interact with the initiate the quest is non other than Goten.

Some of you may fondly remember Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya-jin Densetsu for the Super Famicom, yes? Well, if you don't, then that game was an RPG that went through the story from Raditz to Freeza, but there was a bonus epilogue if you did things just right. If you let a team mate die during the fight with Freeza, Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan. Now, if you defeat Freeza, let Goku transform, AND still have Vegeta alive in your party, after the credits roll Vegeta shows up. He proclaims he, too, can now go Super Saiyan and you duke it out with him as a last bonus boss.

Now, in the PQ "The Super Saiyan Legend", you must get Goku as a supporter, recruit Krillin, and then let him die. Goku transforms. Now Vegeta will show up as supporter. Defeat Freeza, and keep Vegeta alive, and suddenly he will transform and fight you.

It's a beautiful little detail that shows how much love and care DIMPS put into this game - referencing an old SNES RPG is just great.

It's...not a theory. That's how that PQ goes. Sure, it's random whether or not Vegeta will ACTUALLY transform and you can fight him (Thanks, RNG), but that's exactly what happens.

That was exactly what I thought when I heard Super Saiyan Vegeta was a secret boss in that PQ. I instantly remembered "Wait a minute. The only time I remember Super Saiyan Vegeta being on Namek was the Super Famicom game. What was that game called?" And sure enough, the title of that game was the exact title for the PQ. It's a very hidden nod and I'm really glad they added that in

You misunderstand me. I know how the quest goes, it's just that you have to pray to the RNG gods and offer a blood sacrifice so that they will smile upon you and let the battle unfold the way you want it to. As it stands, if Freeza decides not to attack Krillin, you're fun little PQ turns into a mind-numbingly frustrating endeavor to get a Z-Rank.

I have and I've beaten it.

But the best rank I can get is an 'A'. Because Goten and Trunks are annoying little bastards that love ganging up on you.

Between Symphonic Destruction and the ultimate Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack, that's enough aoe damage to keep Goten and Trunks off of me. The problem is with Goku and Gohan Kamehameha Spamming in the final round. They. Just. Won't. Stop.
