Do the parallel quests that give you dragon balls (I recommend PQ 4), Summon Shenron after you have them all, pick the "I want to grow more" wish & you'll get 3 levels per wish. Really makes the grinding more tolerable.
Only dubs that matter are DB, Kai, & Super. Nothing else.

Actually, apparently there's now an NPC who'll level you up for Zeni and TP Medals

Three? I can't speak for lower levels, but 85 and up, at least, its 1 level per wish. I had just gotten my male human CaC to level 90 this way.

I do have a level 99 male Saiyan CaC, so that's not an issue for me.

You may be thinking of just "I want to grow," which is the original variant of that wish that only does 1 level. I just thought that it was a patch for having the wish there indefinitely in some variant, but after using the first one once, I realized it was still there (which must've been patched in because it originally disappeared from what I've read after using it the once), so I picked it on a whim & got the last 3 levels I needed to get to level 90 from 87. It works, trust me. I just did it a little bit ago.

Kinda near the trees around where Android 16 is. His name is Tosko or something like that.

He's a bit expensive in the higher levels though, I think for my level 71 Frieza's Race guy to go to level 72, it's like 180,000 Zeni for ONE level. Granted, I have a shit-ton of Zeni that I have no other use for really...but I'd like to see someone else do a list of how much it goes up so I can calculate if I actually have enough zeni for them all or not.

NPC close to #16 named Tosok

He charges 40Tp for one level ehen your over lv 80. I'd have to check how much he charges in zeni (maybe I'll actually pay to get all my other characters to max level)

I hope they at least keep the voice actor. I feel like it fits Jiren regardless of tone.

I don't mind the voice direction too much though honestly, since I'd like it if the games kinda mixed the anime and manga personalities of Jiren, and I feel this might fit that.

I'd, honestly, still recommend playing the story mode of the first game if you're on a console that has it. For one, if you try to go back at a later point, some things are frustrating in the first game that aren't in the second. Then there's the fact that you can frontload your character with some of the best moves & clothes from the first game, which'll mitigate early game frustrations because the ones they give you off the bat are pretty shit. It makes the entire first portion of levels that much easier to deal with. By the end of the first game, I had "Maximum Charge", which is the best charge move in the game, "Vanishing Ball", "Big Bang Attack," a move which seems like it was nerfed in 2, "Kamehameha," which I replaced with the "Kaioken" variant afterwards, "Final Flash," "Super Vanishing Ball," & "Psychic Move," which helped me big time both early in the game, as well as get used to how the sequel controls slightly differently than the first, like how the combat system was refined. I also had the Time Patroller Suit early on, which is a good outfit & I would've not have gotten it otherwise because I hate those stupid school missions.
The only thing I don't like is that you can't transfer "Super Saiyan" as well (especially since they refined the skill system so it's no longer an Ultimate, but that's easy to get back once you know how. Wish it weren't an optional thing that isn't spelled out to you & more of a character progression thing that you get BEFORE Namek so it can be more cinematic when you fight Frieza & Cooler with Goku, but whatever. That's a gripe I've had since the first game & I doubt they'll change it in 3.
Plus, you can have your own created character exported over to 2 from the first game, which I found cool, even though you SHOULD be able to control them &/or use them in PQs & multiplayer, plus be able to alter their moveset similar to the mentors, since they're your legacy character & that would make sense to do, which is a thing I hope they fix for 3. Also, I feel the story of the first game is stronger since it was fresher & had room for improvements, which puts a detriment to 2's story since it follows around 75% of the same story beats, but if you wanna start fresh in 2, go ahead. I just think starting at the first game is better for the overall experience. It also explains the background stuff of the setting, since the second game expects you to know some things going in.

One other thing I think 2's missing is a currency exchange to turn Zeni into TP medals, but that's about it.
So how exactly does this DLC Pack “set up for XV3” as many including myself have been speculating? We technically don’t have a villain but more of a chaotic good or arguably a chaotic neutral fanboy wild card character. Dabura is gone. Mira and Towa are still no where to be seen and it seems like Fu has no plans of bringing them back to life unless it’s for his time shifting experiments.

At the same time, I really dont see Chronoa letting Fu run free or else she wouldn’t be doing her job of protecting history. Maybe the story was meant to just leave things wide open instead of guaranteeing an XV3?
I called it that Gogeta, Bardock, and something Broly related would be in the movie before it was even announced that it was a Broly movie. 8)

Thanks for the unmarked story spoilers for a DLC that hasn't released yet.

Reminder: Do not speak about the events in the Story Mode without using the "spoiler tag" function available right above the space for text. Keep in mind that not everyone wants to know about the events that happen there prior to the official and actual release of the DLC that contains it.

Please respect your friends and wait for a better moment where everyone can talk about it, which will render more and awesome conversation.

For zeni depends on your level. I went up 10 levels from lvl 62 and it cost me 55000, 120000, and 180000 per level

DANG, I’m sorry guys. I kinda forgot with all these videos of the dlc, that it wasn’t actually out yet. Again, sorry guys.

Has that guy always been there? I never noticed him before. Would have saved me so much time grinding for Dragon Balls using the 40 ton weights.

He didn't charge me 40TP. I got to over 40, but he didn't do jackshit. Just told me to get more. I figured he wanted 50, but no dice. I ain't grinding TP medals for that. I'd much rather do the dragon balls trick. At least that's just tedious rather than stupid.

Then again, I am level 90 instead of 80, but I'd prefer him letting us know how many TP we need instead of not.

Also, a minor gripe, but now with microtransactions & that guy, the game has a minor "pay to win" problem. Nothing serious, thankfully, but the fact that you can buy TP , then give it to that guy (after level 80, but still), it's kinds pay to win in a way. Other people might not be bothered by this, but it is something to take notice of.

From what i saw, he isn’t “on your side”. He’s just chaotic neutral.

I kinda expected this in some way. XV3 would have the time patrollers, the time breakers, and Fu would just be a wild card that does what he wants.

I dont think this is the end of Fuu being an antagonist. In Fu’s bio for db wiki, its says that when he meets Mira, he will be greatly affected. So far, he doesn’t want to be a fighter but he still has saiyan cells in him. I’m still suspicious...
Well we know it's not the end of an antagonistic Fu as far as the franchise is concerned since the new trailers for Super Dragon Ball Heroes Universe Mission show Cooler breaking up a fight between him and Super Trunks. Of course it's not clear whether that Fu and this one are the same individual so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I just saw the full story mode and yeah. Chronoa has agreed to leave Fu alone for now since he isn’t bad or good but just a kid. Freakin Demigra shows up in the final battle with Dabura. And the more time rifts, the stronger Fu gets. So yeah, in my opinion, I love Fu. What i want is for him to be a villain but then get a redemption in the end
For those wondering about the Time Patroller that accepts money and medals for level ups, this is how it works for medals past level 80

81-85: 20 Medals
86-90: 40 Medals
91-95: 60 Medals
96-99: 80 Medals

So you'll need around 1000 medals to get to 99

On a side note, I'm very surprised about the little details they put into different character attacks. Giving Goku Divine Lasso has him say "here goes! Energy blade!"

Little stuff like that is so cool to me lol

Wait..

Normal Goku has Divine Lasso? I mean it makes sense since it's an attack that his body is capable of. But that's kind of out of character for him.
