This is getting me so excited for a plot update. X3
I do like the way you have them regaining their memories.

Small News Update theory:
Also, while I'm sure what I'm about to type is probably just a coincidence and that two instances does not a pattern make (you'd probably have to have it happen like 4 or more times for it to be a pattern) both site updates occurred on the 2nd Wednesday of the month - when DB originally ran on Japanese TV it aired on Wednesdays: Next site update = September 5th?

I don't have as much credence in this theory as my Weekly Jump #40 one though. >_>
(Also I want my Jump #40 theory to be true more because that means I only have to wait until Monday instead of having to wait the 2 more weeks the Wednesday theory would have me wait.)
On hiatus.

I wish they show Gogeta or Vegetto needing to go all out and have them fight seriously for once.
BT3 off meds | The final fight

Ah, the Alpha and the Omega. As all life was created from Chaos...so shall it be DESTROYED!!!

The wails of machines | Singing cold harmony | Shifting air upward | Entranced by the breeze | Light pours like blood | Into a cosmic sea | Of stars crystallized | In a frozen symphony

Vegetto kicking you into orbit theme

Haha I agree. These all sound like terrible toei like plots. I just want something new, so no old villains returning or good guys turning villain. That's something you write when you can't come up with anything better. I'm sure toriyama will deliver in his typical unsuspected way.

Though I do would want a lot of things happening in the movie. A fast pace like you have the feeling a lot went down over several days. Like infact a mini saga. Gives you so much more to think about than a casual afternoon of fighting at a dinner party (looking at you 2008 special).

I'm trying to translate some of this, but it's not coming along all that wonderfully.
Does anyone know if that big "J" on the preview of next week's Jump has anything to do with Jump Festa/Jump Super Anime Tour?

It's from Jump's official website so I know it's legit.

I'm definitely not in sync with most of this community it seems, because I personally just want this to be the most slam bang, awesome action-adventure martial arts film of all time, something that more than just Dragon Ball or anime fans could go to and end up really enjoying. I also love the idea of a wide US screening, I'm extremely curious to see how it would fare here and in other parts of the world. The idea of all the characters turning into babies from a page earlier sounds more like a plot for a filler episode of the series gone awry or something. Certainly not befitting of the first ever standalone, full length theatrical Dragon Ball Z movie ever. Toriyama's adamant involvement along with the setting of this film (taking place after what was undoubtedly the most farcical portion of the series) has me slightly worried, but their choice of scriptwriter is extremely interesting and makes me hopeful for some elaborate fights and set pieces unlike anything previously seen in the series.
This is the episode of when Gokuh enrages himself after Freezer talk shit about Kuririn

This is not related to the movie nor Dragon Ball at all.

If Toriyama is deeply involved in this movie, i'm sure his presence will assure an huge success.
It will be interesting to compare who is bigger right now:
Dragon Ball; Bleach or Naruto.

That's easy; One Piece! ;P

Out of those three, it's Dragon Ball if you count sales. Naruto is currently running and it's one of Jump's most popular titles, and Bleach is in a six-foot hole on life support.

I agree with MugiMikey. One Piece is huge! It's so much more popular than any of the other three, makes a lot more money, and it's a wildly successful franchise. I wouldn't be surprised if it went on for another 10 years at least. Oda's shown no signs of slowing down.

What does that one line starting with "J" say in English though? I wasn't thinking to add that to my question earlier.

I forgot One Piece.

Why do you say Bleach is in a six-foot hole on life support?

Any official numbers to support that statement?

One Piece is the biggest anime in Japan from what I can remember. I believe in the US that Bleach is the most popular since I remember seeing Bleach on New York Times best selling anime and manga charts a few years back.

Bleach is in a six-foot hole on life support.
I'm going to have to contradict that, especially since things have started to look up in terms of sales and maybe ratings too.

I'm pretty sure this is something everybody wants. I'd love to have them go "Avengers" on this and only focus on making it a action packed fun ride :)

I doubt it considering the Nyoi-bō would probably break in battle and he can fly much faster than Kinto'un at this point.

If this is meant to fit in with the manga somehow, I'm not sure how they'll be able to do it without taking the '08 special approach (just let the kids fight). I loved that, but I want something new. At the very least, I don't want a villain repeat.

Sounds like Broli to me.

What this movie needs.

1. Battles in Space

2. Fighters throwing real planets at each other similar to the Other world tournament.

The last thing I heard is that Bleach's Anime got cancelled on March.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bleach_(manga)
Original run October 5, 2004 – March 27, 2012[1]

I don't know about the manga but some people I know that read it say it's getting nowhere. Naruto will get a big reveal next issue, IF kishimoto doesn't trolls us all and changes focus to another character... I stopped watching the anime after Hinata's confession during the Pain Invasion Arc.

Other thing I want in the movie are full battle moves, like Goku vs Majin Vegeta:

I mean... just look at THAT.
Check out Journey's End, a short story of Goku and Vegeta's final days. "Time is running out for the last two Saiyans"

In Bleach manga the 1000 year old war is in progress.

Captain commander second in command, Byukuya kuchiki, Shunsui, Kira and Kenpachi have been killed so far. The enemy invading soul society are the vandereich, which are quincy militia. The Vanderich leader fought Yamamoto 1000 years ago, and capture Halibel. All members of the vanderich can steal bankais and have access to a version of Quincy Final Form, similar to what Uuryu displayed against Mayuri in soul society arc. Ichigo is stuck inside some barrier in the dangai world currently thanks to King Opie. Aizen has cut down Kirge Opie (First Jagdarmee - Executive Hunting Captain of Vanderich) while he was off guard.

Does it sound like its not going anywhere ?

I stop reading both Naruto, Bleach and One Piece since I lost interest with them.

You seem to be the only person that wants this movie to show off crazy feats like those?

I'm not the only one. I don't see what's crazy about them throwing planets like bowling balls, it would be funny and comedic if they did that.
