How great would it be for Dragon Ball to have the One Piece treatment. I sincerely hope it's a new movie, even if it doesn't connect with the main story. A cool new villain(s) (backstory must be included), new costumes , two or three moments of fan service and a great main fight.

I don't think the announcement will be about the Universe 6 Arc, it would render the manga close to pointless. Would the release of the manga in volumes be enough for a "big announcement"?

Alright, here's a quick comparison video I threw together. From editing this, it seems there's roughly less than two minutes worth of corrections made to the episode. I'll check the other episodes tomorrow as it's pretty late here.

Great work Ajay, thank you very much for doing that. The BD version looks so much better than the TV broadcast, especially the SS3 fight.
For me, I was perfectly ok with the content of the episode, it was simply the poor drawings of Goku that bothered me, and now that's been improved, I'm totally ok with it.

With regards to this announcement, any idea as to when to expect it?. I do hope it doesn't end up being an adaptation of the U6 Arc... I would love something along the lines of what One Piece gets, an original villain and story.
But that's dependant on the announcement being a new movie, which we are far from being guaranteed.

Weren't BOG and F announced 9 months before the movies came out? If we do get a 3rd film in December, we probably won't get an announcement until March of next year.

It was actually announced in August, almost one year before the release date. So announcing a new DB movie this month for December'16 really doesn't sound far-fetched.

I hope it's a special, something like History of Trunks about Beerus and Champa's backstory or something, maybe Freeza's. Anything substantial. "Non-canon" side-story like the 13 original films are so pointless and a waste of cash.

Even if it is announced it doesn't necessarily mean production is already underway, either. Then again, if One Piece gets 105 minute specials in August 2016 and December 2016 production of a new Dragon Ball film for release in December 2016 would need to begin now.

I can't stop thinking its gonna be new information about Universe 6 arc.
Judging by last manga chapter, the tournament kicks off this month. So we gonna see some new characters soon.

Personally my top 3 wishes would be:
1) Universe 6 arc characters reveal and official confirmation that U6 is not the last arc for Super.
2) Dragon Ball (pre-z) Kai .
3) New Movie.

We've had the promise of big new relating to DB for about a month now.

My apologies. ^^; I mixed it up with I think probably the One Piece kabuki announcement or something else. *Shows how much I pay attention to One Piece compared to Dragon Ball.*


August being the case then yes I can agree I could see them announcing a new DB movie this month for next December. I just hope it's a brand new plotline and not a retread of whatever happens in the Uni 6 arc. No more "here's 3 versions of the same story" stuff if they can help it. @_@

Also special movie-only outfits like One Piece movies get. I've been so envious of how the Straw Hats get fancy movie outfits while we for the most part reused outfits we already have (with some exceptions like the new training armor and the sweatsuits).

As far as I know yes only that episode got touched up. Oh and also, preview of episode #6 and recap of episode 5 also got fixed up. However that seems to be about it.

I hope the announcement is a new movie or Super manga going weekly. 2015 and 2016 are looking to be good years for manga/anime, and now we got upcoming DB and Naruto announcements. Plus that One Piece Film Gold, can't wait! Anime sure has been blowing up lately, especially with Netflix wanting to start producing their own. I'd like to say it's because of the return of Dragon Ball but In honesty, I just think it's a ton of manga/anime together like One-Punch Man.
