Kaio, Vegeta, and Goku. Kaio was sure that if they annoyed Beerus, they are fucked, no matter what they would try, Vegeta was sure about that as well when he fought him, and once Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan God, he said that he never imagined that such a realm existed (realm = power most likely, except if you have something better to suggest).
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

If the Potara are all gone, then they can't make Vegetto anyways.

Theres that. I also find it ridiculous that some think Beerus > SSJ3 Vegito when SSJ3 Vegito only exists in video games (and only recently at that). Its the same reason I discredit SSJ3 Broly in various debates because we have no accurate description or portrayal of his power except in videogames where anyone can beat anyone.

Until SSJ3 Vegito appears in a animated format that gives us some sort of evidence that he's weaker than Beerus, it remains Beerus > Super Vegito and thats really all there is to it besides fan speculation.

Well we know that SSJ3 is 4 times greater than SSJ2, which is twice SSJ1.

And we dont know exactly how much stronger Beerus is compared to Super Vegito. Could be 3 times or a mere 10 percent for all we know.

Oh its a fact that Beerus is stronger than Super Vegito, theres no arguing that. Its when people say that he surpasses SSJ2 and SSJ3 Vegito where I think it gets ridiculous. Same with this saying SSJG Goku surpasses SSJ2-3 Vegito.

As I thought. I don't care; they have no way of objectively measuring and comparing Beers to someone that doesn't exist. Did they even still have Potara as an option?

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke

Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Beerus is stated to be the strongest being in the history of Z. Yes Whis turns out to be stronger but that was meant to be a surprise which got revealed ahead of time. Its still Beerus > anyone who has ever come before him in DBZ. I really dont understand why its so hard to accept that.

Because the statement is objectively wrong.

Not when it was made.

The movie wasn't out yet. No one knew that Whis was stronger than Beerus then. The reveal that the Hakaishin is weaker than his attendant is a fact that should be amended to the statement, not render it invalid.

Nope. It said Beers was the strongest in the history of Z. He can't be the strongest if someone introduced in the same film as him is outright stated and shown to be stronger. The statement is flat-out wrong, and as a result has no significance or credibility.

Yes,it's said that Beerus is the strongest in the history of Z but he said in the movie that Goku is the 2nd strongest person he fought and Whis was #1 because he is his teacher of martial arts.It was meant to be a surprise.

Again, so? The statement is either right or it isn't. This statement clearly isn't right, thus it can't be used as proof of anything.

What? Why is Beerus' superiority being argued against? It's EXTRAORDINARILY obvious what the creators' intent was when they labeled him that way.
