Zeno oversees all the 12 universes. We know there is an alternate future world for universe 7, naturally Goku will be able to summon Zeno from that time as well. Bringing this Zeno in the other parallel past world to play with that Zeno. This is in the same universe seven timeline/alternate worlds. As for Zamasu, please elaborate on what you mean?Sandubadear wrote:No, the ones who split due to Beerus killing him are present Zamasu/Goku Black.Miracles wrote:Future Zamasu existing is due to Beerus wasting him. Hence the time ring created from that.Sandubadear wrote:By that logic, Future Zamasu or Future Zen'o shouldn't exist since Trunks only changed the past for Universe 7. Alternate timeline split all universes. They only didn't recruit other Zamasu because they haven't started the plan in other timelines.
Future Zeno is accurate because he is already from that future world of Trunks. So he took that future Zeno to play with the Zeno in the parallel past universe 7 timeline.
Zen'o doesn't live in Universe 7 so I don't really understand what you meant.

Stated where? Don't come with dub lines, Goku and Vegeta were stated to have obtained the power of the Gods, but not that they have become Gods.MathSSJ wrote:It just doesn't hold any weight if you have to pretend that Goku and Vegeta aren't gods when they are directly stated to be them.Noah wrote:Yep, but they're still mortal beings using a mortal technique to fuse.
Vegetto just works better. Two humans who became gods using tools of the gods to combat a god gone mad. Assuming Toyotaro doesn't deviate too much from what happened, Gogeta being there over Vegetto would be purely fanservice and cause more harm then good, since the question of "Why won't they just fuse?" to deal with everything will still be unanswered in the manga.
Gogeta would be better not just for the symbolism but as emperior pointed: "would also make more sense power levels wise, especially in the manga where Future Zamasu is nowhere near SSB level."
And by which manga do you refer to? If you're talking about Z: Goku suggested that he and Vegeta could do the fusion dance, but he refused. If you're talking about Super: In BoG Goku realized that fusion would probably be not enough to defeat Beerus, in RoF they didn't even want to fight together fusion would be a "hell no" possibility in this scenario and in the next arc too.

From the anime, in Ep. 10:
There are also Toriyama interviews where he directly refers to post-BoG Goku as a god and in the DBS manga, Piccolo directly calls Goku a god after he transforms into SSJ God. Seems pretty clear that they are actual gods, regardless of continuity.Gohan: "I can't sense dad's ki at all."
Whis: "That's fine. After all, the ki a god emits cannot be sensed by ordinary humans."
Gohan: "Then dad really is a..."
Whis: "Yes, Super Saiyan God. I don't know whether he's the same as Beerus-sama or the Kaioshins, but at the very least he's become as much of a god as they are."
Gogeta wouldn't actually make sense without retconing being involved in some sort. If SSJ3 makes it last 5 minutes, Blue being fuckton of times stronger then that would make it last seconds.
And no, Goku and Vegeta just being bitches and not wanting to fuse is not an acceptable answer either. If you are gonna portray the characters actually caring and trying their hardest to win against the enemy, the Potara fusion must be addressed, especially now that it's so stupidly easy to get a pair of them due to Gowasu and Shin being around and freely able to travel through time.

You said it right: "after", they got the power of the Gods but that doesn't make them Gods like Kaioshin and Hakaishin, even though Black compliments Vegeta for achieving this kinda of power he and Zamasu still treat them as mere mortals which is right implying they didn't became deities just because of that.MathSSJ wrote:There are also Toriyama interviews where he directly refers to post-BoG Goku as a god and in the DBS manga, Piccolo directly calls Goku a god after he transforms into SSJ God. It's not because it's a stronger transformation but like SSJ3, SSJB also has drawbacks that even though it's nice Toyotaro adressing this form has flaws is a dumb and overused concept in this series, so yeah I can agree Gogeta Blue would probably not last enough, but you can always have him finishing Merged Zamasu fast as he did with Super Janemba.
It is a acceptable answer because they're not taking Golden Freeza seriously, but now it's different with Zamasu and Black that are multitemporal threats and Gowasu is dead, they probably only have Shin to give them his Potara earings.

I don't think Gowasu is dead. If he's not saved this upcoming chapter with a Senzu or Kai healing, then this would be a perfect opportunity to see Whis Time Rewind in the manga.

Just have him intercept Gowasu before he goes to confront Black in the future. That should work.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I can't wait for next chapter. Maybe we'll get to see Absolute Zamasu, how the Mafuba attempt goes(please not like the anime), Vegeta's training results and Gowasu's status.
We will also see if the new page count is here to stay or if last chapter was an anomaly.
I'm pretty happy the manga was allowed to grow and have it's own spin of the story. It makes the Super brand so much better for me.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
The way it was stated in the latest dub episode, Whis called Goku an actual Deity, he doubted that he was in the same realm as Beerus and the others (Meaning he doesn't have an official title in my opinion.) The way I took this was that Goku gained the "Divine" energy of the God's and he is himself now infact a Deity. He is a God, or at least he has the powers of the Gods, but he doesn't have the title or job such as Beerus the god of destruction or Kaioshin creator. What would you call a God who actually didn't have a "godly" job such as creation or destruction, but had the power of the gods themselves? I'd call him a Deity, or a freelance DeityNoah wrote:You said it right: "after", they got the power of the Gods but that doesn't make them Gods like Kaioshin and Hakaishin, even though Black compliments Vegeta for achieving this kinda of power he and Zamasu still treat them as mere mortals which is right implying they didn't became deities just because of that.MathSSJ wrote:There are also Toriyama interviews where he directly refers to post-BoG Goku as a god and in the DBS manga, Piccolo directly calls Goku a god after he transforms into SSJ God. But I really think Whis meant he has the power of the gods and is a god by divine energy (that only gods have) but he isn't an official god because he has no job or title like Beerus, so call him a Deity.
To make it less confusing, I'd think of Beerus who has divine energy, quitting the job of God of Destruction. What would you call him since he has divine energy and he is so strong? A God or a Deity? The reason I give this example is because God's of Destruction at least don't have to be born a God like the Kaioshins, the recent examples are Whis asking Goku to be the new GoD after Beerus kicks the bucket, and Toppo being a next in line GoD.
The word "God" in Super seems to be an honorary title of one's place in the Dragon World rather than how strong one is over a mass of people. Kaioshin's are about SSJ2 tier at the most to back this example up. I wonder sometimes if even someone could replace Zen-Oh, since he is referd to as King of All instead of God. While I think Deity would be used to describe anyone who has obtained Divine Energy, but they just call them all Gods because they all have the same energy.

I'm pretty sure Toyotaro has not shown Goku using kaioken at any point yet. Very curious in seeing if Goku does this month, and if Vegito makes an appearance.
