I honestly think they made it look silly on purpose.. I bet it was Toriyama's doing. I bet SSj God originally looked like something out of a DBAF fan manga, but Toriyama changed it when he also changed the darker tone of the movie into one the whole family could enjoy. This could be his private little jab at his fans, showing them how silly they are for obsessing over every little thing in Dragonball. So we're treated to a skinny PINK Goku as the ultimate form.

Well, magenta without the flame aura, bright red with the flame aura. Goku's ssjg form appeals to the younger fangirl part of me (much like the movie itself) so I'm rolling with it. :3

If there is a little punch, I'd say it's more directed at ssj3 than anything else; that form's practically the opposite in looks from ssjg.

Also, yeah, I noticed the bit about base Goku putting up a fight against Bils. Fuck logic.

There is logic in this. Goku has absorbed the realm of the SSG power into his body.

Well that shows base Goku with roughly 2% of SSG's power >>>>>>>> all the z-warriors combined, so that's something :P

It's only logical if Super Saiyan is no longer a 50x multiplier, which isn't logical in itself.

So does Goku have to call upon everyone again to become SSJG or not. If he keeps the power as an SSJ, Is Goku able to use the SSJG form whenever he wants with the time limit.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

The impression I get so far is that even once Goku lost the 'Super Saiyan God' form, the power from it didn't fade away immediately, allowing him to still fight at that level regardless of which other transformation he was using. Or, at best, going Super Saiyan somehow allowed him to boost what amount of SSjG power he had left. That's what I'm going to roll with for the time being, anyway.

I'd imagine he kept it honestly. Since he "absorbed that realm of power" into his being, I would imagine he tap into it at any time.

I don't quite understand how a super saiyan Vegeta was able to land a couple of blows on Beers while a super saiyan 3 Goku couldn't.

On the subject of Bills saying base Goku<Frieza. I see it being no different to Future Trunks' PL being 5, when Tarble checked base Goku's power and said it wouldn't be enough to beat Avo and Cado, when Avo and Cado scoffed at base Goten and Trunks' PL before being stomped on and post 100X gravity training Goku's PL being 5000. Goku was at rest and so his PL was a lot lower that it would be in battle, so I see it as part of a recurring theme.

Also wasn't it said in the Majin Buu saga that base Goku>Piccolo?

That's a good point. This movie counts the Jump special which had Goten and Trunks easily beat guys as strong as Freeza without SSJ.

Apparently, it's not. Goku also shouldn't be able to go Super Saiyan 2 & 3 (at least when using the godly powers).
