Quite glad to see all the good proper resolution caps.

The main issue with not doing it in VLC and then scaling down is because VLC scaling it up is going to create a few erroneous issues.

Here are my old directions in shorthand for those who don't need an explanation why they are doing certain things.
--------------------
Install CCCP
Open Media Player Classic Home Cinema (comes with CCCP), use the open disk option to load up your disk.
While watching, save caps as .PNGs.
These PNGs will be native to DVDs resolution, 720x480.
Using CS4, CS3, or the Gimp, load your screencaps, and change image size using the bicubic/cubic filter to 640x480 and save these, once again, as PNG.

also, for anything widescreen (the menus on the Dbox, modern animation/film/etc), do the same as above, but make the final resolution 853x480.
--------------------

also, SHINOBI, I don't know if you took the caps or nabbed them from somewhere else, but http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/4682/goh ... ririnb.png is the wrong resolution and it's adding some line distortions to the characters.

I took them using VLC.

I downloaded the CCCP, but the capture option is not enabled.

I used the PrintScreen way, and resized with Photoshop, and this is the result.

Plus, the scene was shaking a lot.

Ah yes, that isn't the screen capture option. That has to do with something else. To take a screenshot in MPC-HC, click File, then 'Save Image'.

After you save one image you can make it easier by going into options, and setting a key command that automatically puts them in the last folder you saved to (you need to do it once first to set it as PNG and set the folder.)

To do that, go into options, and under 'player' there is an option called 'keys'. Look for 'Save Image (auto)' and choose the key you want to use (I personally set it for VK_NUMPAD0, which sets it for the 0 key on the number pad.)

That should help.

I got mine today it's fantastic. It even feels higher quality than the first one. Good news for me, it didn't even come all cracked and damaged like my first Dragon Box did as I posted in this thread:

Maybe I'm going a bit offtopic here, I hope not though...
Some days back I tried to order the DragonBox of Amazon.com. However, I couldn't make use of any of the payment methods. I don't have a credit card, and for a bank payment I need to have an account at a US bank. Well, I live in the Netherlands so... I was hoping they would accept Paypal but they don't.

So, what is a good place to order the DragonBox for non-US residents? Amazon had it for so cheap, I want to find it somewhere which has the same pricelisting as they do (also think of shipping costs).

You can order it from Amazon.com even outside USA. You don't need an account at an American bank.

But you don't have a credit card... well, I use a sub-account from my local bank that is used mainly for online purchase as one of their services.

But if you don't have one... either ask your parents, or a friend who have a credit card, and pay them back when you receive your order.

I order everything from here.

I just checked and I saw Netherlands as a country when you go to check out.. No idea what shipping will cost, but it takes Paypal.

Well, I know a lot want screencaps, but I'm willing to make some on Friday since it's my short day at Penn State. I also got done with the first disc, so I'll use that one.

Anyways, happy watching everyone!

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

Uh, Amazon.com said so...

That's the reason I made a paypal account. I thought most sites used this or something similar. I think it's a bit stupid to get myself a credit card especially for the DragonBox... :/

I'm 22 so no need to ask my parents, and no all my friends don't have a credit card either.

@ ka1oken: Thanks. But the price including shipping is much more expensive than the listing on Amazon... Sigh, guess I'll pass XD

How about a prepaid credit card (for anywhere) or money order (for Right Stuf)? I've ordered things from Amazon with a prepaid credit card with no problems whatsoever.

I just got mine yesterday. They really didn't skimp on padding it with paper! It's good that they want it to arrive in mint condition, which is especially nice considering it was free shipping. I'd also ordered Tekkaman Blade vol. 2, which ended up shipping separately, and it had a form-fitting cardboard package. Much less paper padding, though.

Mine had 2 layers of paper around the item. You think it was too much Right Stuf? Also, they added a lot of promos from their site and FUNimation in the package.

My mom called and told me that her account was debited and I need to give her $43, so I guess that means it's shipping!

Got mine today :)

I have them sitting on top of my tv in my bedroom with the goku image facing out. It really doesn't look all that bad with them inside of the yellow boxes (at least to me).

No they didn't; it isn't flipped at all. Look at the shading, they just used the other half of the image. Now, layout-wise, for all intents and purposes, it was flipped, but the actual artwork was not.

My account was debited today so does that mean it's preparing for shipment? Cause I honestly never purchased from rightstuff before..
