This game looks graphically superior to any Dragon Ball Spike game ever produced. It almost looks like it has some kind of (dare I say it) art direction!!
I'm interested for the look of the game alone, looks very impressive for a PSP title.
you do know this game was made by Spike right?

The game looks nice but it still has that gross Tenkaichi feel(super forehead Krillin and block hands for the win).
Yes, I'm very aware of that, I never said that it wasn't. I'm not harping on Spike, I'm actually impressed with what they've done here, the character models look like they've actually had some time spent on them, there's a certain depth of colour to them that I didn't even see in the first 3 Budokai's, it's not just a "LOL FILL TOOL" job.
Like I say, I'm impressed so far Spike, keep it comin'.

Is it official that Spike's also developing this game? By the looks of it, it just seems Namco Bandai took Spike's original BT/BT2/BT3 engine and used it in their own game while Spike produces Raging Blast 2.

This is what I'm talking about! This game looks so much cooler than Raging Blast 2. It actually has something new to offer. It makes me seriously consider buying a PSP.

That trailer was so awesome. I haven't been this excited for a DB game in a while. :P

I don't know if I like that fact that they added health bars for Dragonball Z Legends 2.

I agree, I'm more hyped for this than RB2. I don't understand why they didn't add this new gameplay element to RB2 instead. Now then, go get yourself a PSP(just don't get a go).

I think it looks bad from the trailer because it's way too slow.

I really like where this is heading, although I hope there's also an option to fight 1 on 1 since I wouldn't like being forced to fight tag battles all the time.

I noticed that too actually. It is a set back, but I'm still willing to give the game a chance considering the limitations of the PSP.

There's always Tenkaichi 3 for that. :P

But the game is called Tenkaichi Tag Team, so I assume it will be just 2 on 2 battles.

I'd take this over RB2 ANY day.
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

You've played neither of them.

Yeah no kidding. But Tag Vs is actually offering something new on a completely different platform. Spike's character designs are pretty bad, but I'm willing to look past that if the game play is nice(they aren't an eyesore but I've seen better). The fact that this game offers something completely new to the table makes the game play sound interesting and fun. Not to mention the price is going to be cheaper considering it's on the PSP. This means, even if it is bad, I still didn't spend 60 bucks on it.

Personally I still have some concerns with the camera. Having a company, who really dropped the ball with camera controls in the last game, work on something that involves juggling between 4 characters on one tiny screen frightens me. Though if they can pull it off, it will be one hell of a Dragonball experience.

I'm also concerned with the controls. We are going from a PS2/3 controller to a PSP, which means we will be losing 2 buttons and a joy stick. The shoulder buttons were very important in past Spike creations, so I'm curious to see how they handle things.

Overall the game looks more interesting and fun than RB2 so I'm going to be riding the hype train for this game with Sinspawn.

I think he means the concepts overall.
I could make a joke about how I already played Raging Blast 2 last year, but that'd make me look like a real douche bag.. hey look at that, I did it anyway.

Are you a tester for Spike or something?

It appears as though he's saying that, by playing Raging Blast 1, he has already played Raging Blast 2. Most likely because he believes the two will be very similar.

I'm inclined to share his speculation until I hear more news about the game. Re-vamped graphics aren't enough.

And he believes that based on two scans and a trailer?

I'm just tired of every game being the fucking SAME.
At least this has something new.
And it's not a big Broly fanwank.
