I know the name. But I don't know anything about the guy. I'm assuming it's good though because other people are excited about it.

Oh yeah, and in case nobody has mentioned it yet... This is the big surprise.

One of the things that suprise me the most is that most of the community knowed about this and no one said a word about this at all, lol.

Anyway, just to start up the guessing game since you guys won't budge, let's play a game to see if we could figure this out..

Was the voice actor in the dub of One Piece?
Was the voice actor in the dub of Sgt.Frog?
Was the voice actor in FMA or FMA Brotherhood?

I'll wait until I hear the voice before deciding whether this is good news. I've heard a lot of suggestions for what Freeza's voice should be like before, and I haven't liked any of them. Most of them have sounded something like dub Cell. If Freeza actually sounds like a man, it's gonna be a pretty big hump for me to get over.

Cole Brown (Blackbeard in One Piece, bit roles in Sgt Frog, narrator of Desert Punk)?

It's totally going to be Todd Haberkorn. I can dig this, it's probably going to be fairly close to Young's Freeza and Haberkorn fits that bill perfectly.

But Haberkorn is in FMA: Brotherhood, as Ling.

My next guess is Bradley Campbell (Fruit Seller in One Piece, Mr. Mayor in Sgt Frog). Not in FMA, in One Piece, and in Sgt. Frog, with no Dragon Ball-related credits.

I could've sworn that Christopher Sabat played Namu. His Yamcha voice kinda slipped through during his screams.

Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Oooh, Chris Ayres (Johnny in One Piece, 3M in Sgt Frog, Chouji Suitengu in Speed Grapher)!

Sean saying the voice was "creepy" actually gave me a lot of hope. I'm all for a change, but there's some weird fan consensus that the perfect voice for Freeza should be a dapper Bond villain, when Nakao's delivery is made special by the fact that an inhumanly creepy voice is delivering such polite dialogue. Creepy is good.

I'm only familiar with Greg, not with Chris.

So it is probably Chris Ayres then?

Going through the Speed Grapher cast list on ANN the only actors that I noticed met the criteria were Chris Ayres and Cole Brown unless I missed someone.

I know. This is exactly what I don't want, but it seems to be what people always suggest.

Never heard Chris Ayres. Only thing he's ever done that I ever had any interest in was the Xenosaga anime, but as soon as I found out they weren't using the game voice cast I quit caring about that dub.

<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
