Yeeaahhh... :|
HAHAHA I did the same thing! If you guys want something specific, this is the time to do it!

Personally, I asked for:

- DBZ Dragon Box reprints with Faulconer's BGM on it instead of 7.1 audio
- The original English soundtrack(Disturbed, Deftones, Drowning Pool, etc.[Yes, I like it]) for the movies instead of English w/ Japanese 7.1
- Fix the English soundtrack syncing issue on Movie 5 if they actually do use the original English movie soundtracks

I'll get flamed for these requests, but this is what I want.

FUNimation should (do that) to make up for suspending the BDs.

Now see, this is where I'd draw the line. That's a little too much to ask of (and this is coming from someone who'd want the US music). The thing is that the Z Boxes are done. My asking for another run of what's already finished is probably pushing the bill, but it's a bit more logical; asking them to do redo the Boxes is pushing further. This is why I mentioned putting the Z DBox Extras and Specials that we missed onto the Movies box. It's thinking ahead while not re-doing something they already went and finished. Even if it is all silly requests Funi may ignore, I'd like to be reasonable... a little... lol

Maybe for the next re-re-re-release (that isn't canceled). :P
I realize it's a silly thing to ask of them, but there are many fans out there who want another DBZ DBox run anyway due to whatever reasons they didn't buy them earlier. I'm no professional, but isn't the work already done for them? Just swap out one audio track for another. I'm willing to bet there was a good number of people who even sold their DBoxes because that track wan't on it. I actually completed my FUNI DBoxes collection today ending with DBox 4(thanks Sumpter), and wouldn't mind buying them again just for the original track I grew up with.

And this.
Gohan: At least he doesn't have his sword out anymore.
Kuririn: Yeah, and your dad put his finger away too.

It'd be nice of them and not too surprising if that were part of their reason for this, but it's not like they really "owe" us anything.

Yeah, really. Do we really have to get dragged into another discussion about how we, the consumers, are not inherently entitled to anything whatsoever?
It's been done countless times before, but...

My personal opinion, they do. I'll keep waiting for a complete release of Z uncut, fullscreen , and with the Faulconer music for how ever long it takes.

You can 'wait' all you want, but it doesn't mean they owe you anything.

Also, stop throwing in your 'opinion' on whether the BDs are cancelled or not into posts where it isn't relevant. I've seen you do it enough, and it needs to stop.

Yeah, okay, whatevever.

Whatever funimation does with future dragon box releases, it doesn't matter to me. I'll still buy them.

It wasn't working out, so they canceled a release. They don't owe us anything for that.

People should learn that a business is not their buddy. You can't say "dude, you totally bailed on me last week, you owe me a favour."

The goal in any business is to make money. Not friends.

Considering how far anime fans go to screw over the companies, I generally feel anime companies have bent over backwards to try and do right by its fans, far further than any other industry goes, and frankly, far more than is reasonably expected.

Because they don't cater to the needs of every person with every variable possible, no matter how little sense it makes financially?

Look, I'm all for things I like getting released, but I don't delude myself into thinking that a company should go to the extra effort for a small minority which can barely turn a profit for them, if at all.

It's be 4, 34 is a large enough number and it's extra money in FUNis pocket.
Would funimation release the GT dragon box in one or split it into two boxes?

Cool! I voted original Dragon Ball boxes. Just hope I can afford them if they come out

Exactly. Heck, doesn't Funimation have tons of free shows available to watch for free online?

Assuming Dragonball tops out, do you think they'll anounce it some time later this year?
Box 1 - 001 to 040
Box 2 - 041 to 080
Box 3 - 081 to 120
Box 4 - 121 to 153

Only four boxes in total, I presume (like the Dragon Box Z-form 40 eps per box).

I sure hope they'll include the Dragon Ball Specials (Educational stuff and whatever).

Just like no extras with the Z boxes, there probably won't be any with future dragon boxes.
I'm not trying to be a downer, but what can you expect from funimation.

I am personally no fan of the Dragon Boxes but if it gave us people here in New Zealand and Australia a decent release, then I'm all green.

Madman failed us when they didn't license the Z DBox's so hopefully they'll make up for it with a possible DB DBox.

Quoted for pure truth. Viz' Shonen Jump Alpha is going to release chapters of One Piece in English just a mere two weeks after they come out in Japan. Yet you know Fanslation groups are still going to put out their scanlations and people will read those for free rather than pay the meager amount that Viz is asking for a subscription to Alpha. Disgraceful.

I voted for Dragonbox the Movies. I hope they include the TV Specials and maybe the 1993 version of Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans.
