I don't think they gave the role of Goku as a kid to other people for the sake of diversifying the cast. Sean doesn't have enough vocal range to sound like a child. If he did, I like the idea of the same actor playing the same character convincingly through different stages of his life.

There's a moment in the dub where Mr. Satan rushes to comfort Videl after discovering she's been injured, "Daddy's coming sugar beet!" It make me smile and laugh.

Uh no, I don't always bring up Schemmel. I admit that I was confused about your point at first but it didn't take me long to catch on.
I admit it can get to the point sometimes where I spend enough posts explaining what I mean that, by the time we get back to the topic at hand, I forget where we're going! I apologize if I came across as terse, but I wasn't frustrated at you, just that you didn't seem to be getting what I was saying. But if I missed that you got it earlier than I thought, then I doubly apologize.

But to answer your question, I did notice you say that, but since I was never really arguing against it in this conversation, it didn't seem like something I needed to address. I'm still not really sure how to address it. But this is the best I can think of, and hopefully I'm managing to hit what you've addressed. I've made this argument in another thread recently, and this was it: when you look at the grand list of all Nozawa has done, then it is a lot easier to look back and go, "Yeah, she really didn't need to do all of those." And I agree with that. But I feel those in charge didn't have the benefit of hindsight like that, because, for each of those individual times she was cast, I feel the casting makes perfect sense. And then more perfect casting choices kept coming up, and it snowballed on them. So while we can go back now and try to prune it with our better perspective, I still can't say, on an individual level, she didn't need to voice that.

No problem, and for my part I apologize. Sometimes I read a little too fast or I pick out a point that wasn't the main point.

As for the Schemmel thing, I admit that I didn't get your point at first, so me bringing him up wasn't exactly on point.
