I wasnt really serious but still look at the goku vs Freeza picture, does that look like spikes models???
That's clrealy promo art tho. Specially the Goku vs Cell one. If you want to judge the graphics, the only way to do it is looking at the in-game pics (in this case: the Goku vs Vegeta pics).

Battle of Z made a BIG deal of its 4 vs 4 battles, it was a major selling point. We have absolutely nothing about that on this scan, which pretty much discards Battle of Z 2.

This is the news from the V-Jump issue coming out on 21 May. It's just been leaked super early.

The leaked page says there's more information about Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 for the 3DS, though, so there'll be that, at least.

I don't like the look of that "Mysterious youth". He looks like just another stupid generic uninspired what if character like the ones from UT. And I think we've got enough Saiyans as it is. I couldn't care less about Goku and Vegeta's descendants except for maybe Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr. The fact is that all these what-if characters are never going to be as appealing as the regular cast because they're just poor imitations of them which is why I've never cared for character creator. If they were to make a completely original villain on the other hand I'd be fine with that.

Seems like Battle of Z with a mode similar to Ultimate Tenkaichi's Hero Mode but with a story more similar to Dragon Ball Online (time travelling Hero intervening in the fights from the past, and new area in the future revealed).

It'd be hilarious if that filler plot was included in any game. It'd genuinely crack me up more than it would annoy me!

It was in a NES game, Dragon Ball Z II: Gekishin Freeza.

Damn it! I want to play that now. I played the first one back in the day using emulators, but frankly I spent more of my time on Bid for Power and the SNES and PSX games prior to the release of Budokai than I did on the older ones.

The fist one already included the illusion Saiyans, Garlic Jr. and his men. The third one included Cooler and his armored squadron, while the fourth game featured a compltetly original story, the infamous Plant to Eradicate the Saiyans, with alternative Ghost Warrior versions of Turles, Slug, Cooler and Frieza.

there are 3 characters in one of the images, so it could be possibile. Problem is boz is too recent, i doubt they are already making a new one.

Looks more like an example of your created character (or just this one) going back/forward in time to events in the DBZ timeline. Probably exactly like DB Online

I'm gonna go ahead and call this as not being a Spike game. The models don't look quite like Spike's, and the faces definitely don't.

Or some kind of promo art, but I want to be proven wrong. Though, I can see the Goku vs Cell one maybe, hopefully, being a gameplay shot.

It honestly looks like Promo Art of some sort. Looks like some art you would see when picking a story mode arc or fight.

July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I hope that is an actual game play screenshot. Otherwise, I'm overestimating the Ps4's graphical capabilities.
I guess the only images that can be considered definitely in-game images are the two at the bottom left and the one with goku and vegeta at the bottom right.

I'm hoping to Christ that it won't have recycled music from Raging Blast 1 and UT... I'm sick of it at this point. Miss Yamamoto...

For what it's worth, I can only remember Spike Chunsoft's games being initially unveiled with working titles. Who could forget Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011 or Project Versus J?
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.
