DBZ Kai coming to Toonami

I just desperately hope that this doesn't mean FUNimation's going to withhold releasing the Buu arc until Toonami gets there, because at 1 episode a week that won't be until around 2016.

I wouldn't think so. I believe the Toonami airing of One Piece is several years behind the DVD releases, just like this airing of Kai. I'd be disappointed if Funimation didn't at least announce The Final Chapters by the end of the year.

Wouldn't it be more important for FUNimation to put up the pre-order of The Final Chapters: Season One by the end of the year? I mean, not only would they be making profit within US customers but also outsiders (Canadians and a few Europeans such as myself).

I hope there won't be a Part release this time around because that already died out and we're getting a lot more episodes via the Season Sets.

Toonami having Dragon Ball back on TV is probably what they're most concerned about. The yamamoto scandal is over their heads. Interesting the NEP wasn't there. They have it for other shows.

Well, in theory Toonami shouldn't have even had access to the Yamamoto version to begin with; from what I understand they just air the material that Funi sends them, which should have been the Kikuchi replacement version. What does this mean, though? Are they going to air all the way up to 98 with the Yamamoto score? Or will Funi realize their mistake and change the score next week? Or maybe they'll change it on episode 53, when the switch was made on the DVDs. Either way, this should be interesting.

Not really. Plenty of shows, particularly Funimation ones, tend to skip the next ep previews on Toonami. I definitely know One Piece doesn't include it.
