Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
SSJ4 has body furr and thus even a simple recolor changes the look of the entire character completly. And I'm gonna bring my favourite argument - manga black & white format. Golden SSJ and Cyan SSJ will look exactly the same in that format. These are on the same grayscale. Black SSJ4/Golden SSJ4 would be unmisteakable. Plus, with a design like SSJ4 that is heavy on its own, it is actually appropirate to use simple changes for next-level power-up. Golden SSJ/base Goku form design ain't heavy, hence they require more changes to make them distinct.Lord Beerus wrote: Yes, because fans never re-colour transformations themselves and pass them off as unique. But it doesn't change the fact that it's SSJ4 with golden colour change. The manga black & white format retort doesn't count for anything because not every design follows that format.Basaku wrote:SSJ4 has body furr and thus even a simple recolor changes the look of the entire character completly. I love the new form but i think it came out too soon.
We already had ssjg in BOG and now we have mssjg right away in FNF. They can make good movies without using more news forms.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
That Gold SSJ4 looks really good actually, it'd have been so much better than what we officially got and more inline with previous transformations too.
Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
Actually we have an official golden Super Saiyan 4.
Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
Heavy color change from one end of grayscale to another on a heavy design that applies to majority of the character's look (instead of just head like in other cases). Not to mention that the chosen color fits and brings multiple lore characteristics of the Saiyan race into the overall look even better than SSJ4. Between a thin magneta haired guy and a bulky golden ape-man, which one do you honestly think is more fitting for a Saiyan God legend/position?Lord Beerus wrote: But it doesn't change the fact that it's SSJ4 with golden colour change. We do?Dyno wrote:Actually we have an official golden Super Saiyan 4.

Blue Super Saiyan God + Super Saiyan 4 = Super Saiyan 5. Think about it.

Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
Technically it is ssj5 and the first version was ssj4. But I like this one cause it's simple and powerful. See a god idea is a simple yet incomprehensible. Which this form explains it. Simple in design and incompressible in powerBarunks wrote:Blue Super Saiyan God + Super Saiyan 4 = Super Saiyan 5. Think about it.
Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
If we actually sat down and numbered every super saiyan form in the manga alone I'm pretty sure it would technically be ssj8 or so.Berserker1921 wrote:Technically it is ssj5 and the first version was ssj4.Barunks wrote:Blue Super Saiyan God + Super Saiyan 4 = Super Saiyan 5. Think about it.

Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
I mean in actually change. When I mean that I mean hair haha. Think ssj= yellow. ssj2= super spikey. Ssj3= long hair and no eye brows. Ssj god = thinner, darker skin, younger, and red hair. And mssjg= blue spikey hair. Let me guess, Dragon Ball Heroes?Dyno wrote:Actually we have an official golden Super Saiyan 4.
Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
Guessed wrong. By Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru himself. He drew a golden Super Saiyan 4, I just wanted to have his version in hands, which I bet all my life is way better than fans' versions.Bullza wrote:Let me guess, Dragon Ball Heroes?
Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
Why does him just drawing a picture make it official if it hasn't even appeared in an actual Dragon Ball product?
Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
It makes it official simply because it's not a fanart. And... For the same reason we didn't see King Vegeta's sheet for Movie 14.

Re: So what exactly is this (New Spoiler Form)?
Yeah, I completely agree, the random red fur never made sense at all especially since the Oozaru/Great Ape was gold beforehand. But having said that I still like it only on Goku though, it looks really horrible on Vegeta.Bullza wrote:That Gold SSJ4 looks really good actually, it'd have been so much better than what we officially got and more inline with previous transformations too.

If it's just a drawing he did and it never actually ties in to an official product then it's not official.Dyno wrote:It makes it official simply because it's not a fanart. And... For the same reason we didn't see King Vegeta's sheet for Movie 14.
