However, we see that Kuririn gets a HUGE buff after just a couple of episodes...? That, I don't get. I especially don't understand why he is able to fight on par with SSB Goku in one episode and be able to hold his own. Agh... If Kuririn can do that, why couldn't Tenshinhan do anything against Gohan and Piccolo fight? Makes no sense to me.
Seems like akyon covered most of everything. The Gohan Krillin faced was not expecting much from Krillin, Gohan wasnt taking it seriously until it was too late. It was dumb because Gohan just won a fight a fight where he couldnt see or sense ki. Just to get ringed out by Krillin because he couldnt see or sense ki. Gohan against Tien. He was much stronger, powered up twice while Tien was still in it. He was focused and out to prove a point. I believe we could have gotten a good fight between Tien and Piccolo. But Gohan would not allow it.

You also have to stop trying to make sense of the recruitment arc. Not made by Akira, different writers and directors just to fill in space.
I know you have an unhealthy obsession with Tien but if you seriously believe that then you are at the point of delusion.
In Bojack Tien gave base Trunks all he could handle. If Krillin could land a hit on Base Goku and do what he did with Gohan. I'm sure Tien could exchange blows with Piccolo. Especially the ass pulls they were giving out in the receuitment arc. I didnt say he would win, Tien has a high ability to sense ki. He was charging at Piccolo. He wouldnt have done that if he didnt think he could take him on. The Gohan factor is what prevented it.

Piccolo Besides his fight with SS2 Gohan he has been portrayed as maybe SS1 or lower tier. Tien and Piccolo took the same damage from Beerus. Tien was not hurt any more than Piccolo. They also looked on par throwing punches at Beerus. In ROF Piccolo was weaker than base Gohan. During the match Piccolo and Gohan vs Goku and Tien. Base Goku tanked Piccolos charged up attack.

If Tien was no threat to Piccolo he wouldnt have been so intent on making sure he doesnt attack Piccolo. Gohan wouldnt have asked for Tien to help spar if he wasnt on a certain level. I've been respectful you should do the same. If your opinion varries make a point instead of resorting to attacking someone with under handed remarks.

And what Tien did in a non canon movie matters because?
Tien also was planning to attack Gohan before he attacked Piccolo,so if we follow your logic then he could take on Gohan since he wouldn't have done that if he didn't think he could take him on and we saw how it turned out.

They did not look on par, what are you even on about? They were throwing punches and Beerus dodged them all, simply as that, they also took the same damage since Beerus did not bother physically attacking them.Goku tanked the same attack in 23rd Budokai, thats nothing new and the ssj2 Gohan fight still stands, you cannot exclude it because it does not match your points.Heck the reason Piccolo and Gohan were the only 2 to fight Tagoma/Ginyu is because of them being way ahead of the others.

Their plan was for Gohan to guard Piccolo while he charges his attack, again simply as that,Gohan did what they planned.

Things are pretty simple,Piccolo owned ssj2 Gohan, for Tien to have a good match with him then he needs to be stronger than the ssj2 Gohan that he fought,so the notion that he could do better than Ssj2 Gohan is pretty ridiculous.

The reason i have been so aggressive in my previous post is because you seem to twist what you have seen to your liking(like the beerus example).

Well the preview makes next episode look like mostly a Goku/Vegeta and Gohan/Piccolo episode. Seems Tien will just locate the invisible fighter but that's it.

Man, so far Tenshinhan is the only U7 fighter not to get his own episode or even one full battle. I mean I'm sure he'll get one eventually, but it's kinda funny how Toei has so little interest in doing anything with him.

Why though? Tien should get the fight or Gohan and Piccolo tag team.

Why did Toriyama and Toei not look at the script when creating it and think that some characters are not getting enough screen time. It is just simply not right.

I think it will be a team fight, I don't see Gohan and Piccolo doing more than Ten in the preview, in fact, they look more defenseless than him. But not being a solo fight, it's difficult he gets the ring out, more Goku and Vegeta being there.

Toei showed in the fillers what's Tenshinhan for them, nothing, if it was for them, he would already be out as the first one. I hope Toriyama feels otherwise and his script makes them write the guy with some more dignity in some point. Because a fucking colaboration elimination with Roshi until now, that's like nothing. At least Piccolo got his solo and a bit more time.

Piccolo has had 15 seconds of action so far. We have not even seen Piccolo, Tien and Frieza throw a punch yet in 9 episodes which is just ridiculous.

I'm sure that Tien will prove his worth in this arc. They did wonders for Roshi in the tournament. And out of all the characters in team Universe 7, I was expecting them to drop the ball with him the most, but they spectacularly over-delivered with his episode.

Yeah, we'll see at some point that his picture on the GodPad has already been grayed out off-screen, thus proving himself for not wasting our time.

 I will die of laughter if I see that,is not a big loss for me since his character is not that interesting, I expect to eliminate 1 or 2 assassin of u4 & maybe assist u7 against u2

Actually, I'm surprised Tenshinhan didn't even make an appearance in this episode considering how Roshi and him have been a duo in the tournament until now and they have a history together.

I'm guessing they're setting up for him to have a solo run in at least one episode.

It wanted to focused on the Turtle School students. Tien at the end of the day did come from a rival school.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Tenshinhan will help to beat a strong guy that clearly give some difficulty to Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo so.... I'm thinking Toriyama will give him special abilities with his 3rd Eye, allow him to see invinsible thing, by this way he can help to beat fearsome opponents. I totally see him beating the 2 Brothers of U4, they will probably fuse to be the strongest fighter of U4. Toshio say he will have a moment comparable to the fight against Cell.

I think the problem is the weaker or fodder enemies are winding down. Tien won't have much of a chance to take out anyone if most of the weaker enemies are gone. I don't see him taking out anyone from U6 for example. Piccolo will likely fight the two Nameks, Cabba and Vegeta will surely fight, and Hit, the Saiyan girls, etc. will likely be around to the end.
